Powers & Abilities An interesting detail about Admirals' powers

#1
The point of their specific fruits is that their power are aimed at controlling all three types of movement - land, sea, air. The whole point of piracy is to find One Piece and raid the islands. And for these tasks, it is necessary to overcome logistics-related obstacles.
Aokiji - sea, Akainu - land, Kizaru - air. The same thing with newcomers; Fujitora - air, Ryokugyu - land... Next newcomer (orange admiral) will be associated with sea travel.

It seems obvious, but I’ve never seen anyone directly notice it

Kizaruber Eats

Indifferent about One Piece at best now.

Damn, thats an excellent point, well spotted. This would help explain why there's only 3 of them at a time too.

I wonder what fruit the Orange Admiral could have then? I am struggling to think of an appropriate one, the best I can do is an energy logia or paramecia at least and it could have an orange theme potentially, to suit the admiral too?

Oda could do a lot with an Orange themed Admiral, hell, Green Bulls original personality we saw at the Reverie feels perfect for an Orange themed Admiral instead, maybe thats why Oda changed Green Bull's design and personality too? Although I know i'm on Ultra Copium at least lol.

But yeah your post makes so much sense, each Admiral controlling a form of travel in the OP world feels so obvious in hindsight now, a real eye opener and game changer! God I hope Oda delivers on the Orange Admiral and its not just a headcanon, a myth for us!

Kaido - Land , sea and air :myman:
I was so tempted to bring it up lmao.

Another detail that can predict the image of the new admiral. Each of the three admirals differs in their alignments: Akainu is the bad guy; Kizaru - neutral guy; Aokiji is good guy. With newcomers; Fujitora - good; Ryokugyu - bad; Orange is obviously going to be a neutral. The fruit is most likely a zoan (since the paramecia-admiral was introduced, the next one became a logia - the pattern is obvious). His zoan fruit is most likely be a creature that is directly connected to water/sea manipulation, but does not swim (since devil fruits do not get along with water), if this is a logia than it would be orange colour element + should be liquid/hybrid liqiuid. The only element that i can imagine in that case is resin logia, but resin/sap manipulation is not really good at sea territorial control.

You already lost your point when the Admirals we lost follow your logic it is Sea and Land (Aokiji left marines and Akainu became Fleet admiral) and now we have 2 Admirals for Air and just 1 for land not having any for sea.

I wouldn't call Aokiji loyal :kuzanshut:

Well, the full set of NEWdmirals has not yet been assembled, since the last veteran (Borsalino) has not yet left his post like the rest of the OGdmirals. The fact that he will leave his post is obvious (last chapters). Most likely, the resignation will be on the orders of Saturn due to failure to fulfill duties. Since there is already an admiral who left of his own free will (Aokiji) and one who moved to another position (Akainu), logically Kizaru should be fired.

There is absolutely nothing pointing towards that.

Kizaru will be admiral till the end.

Jimbei - First son of the sea (water)
Sanji - Son of Sora (sky)
Zoro - Son if Terra (earth)
:quest:
Well noted, perhaps when the author created the concept of admirals, most likely the matchups should have been like this (before Oda went on blueballing the plot). And Luffy would be probably against the fleet admiral. I think Oda switched to NEWdmirals in those SHs crew matchups. Ryokugyu - Zoro (green haired buff dude with sword), Orange Admiral - Sanji (orange close to yellow as colour), Fujitora - Jinbei if he fights SHs (wise old man with strong morally codex).
