Character Discussion Analyzing Rocks D. Xebec's silhouette points to him being Buggy's father

It's looking more plausible that the inside of the Crown Jewel was Buggy and Xebec was trying to get his son back.

Same jester hat

Same big smile and jaw structure.

Buggy is 192cm tall. Xebec here is shown to have an average human height.

They both have the same posture and wear epaulet (shoulder piece)

Some Rocks Pirate members are in Thriller Bark as zombies so I believe this zombie is Xebec based on the red nose, blue colored spiky hair like in the silhouette and tongue sticking out which is what Buggy does.

In the glimpse of God Valley flashback, Xebec was seen to have a claw weapon on his hand and a Jester hat. Buggy is a claw wielder.

Same vibe as Cross Guild which is going to be stacked with all warlords and OG villains. They don't seem to respect Xebec the same way CG don't with Buggy.

Are you sure about Xebec's height?

In the picture you've shared, he's smaller than the rest for sure, but he's still at least half of WB's height without taking his hair into account.

He seems as tall as if not taller than an Admiral.

As for the overall post, it's not impossible for him to be Buggy's dad/relation IMO, so I think it's plausible.

All i can think of regarding Buggy is that i believe He was found on Lodestar Island, so He definitely has Important Origins,
Dunno if He is related to Xebec though, it's possible but also not necessary/needed for Story imo,

There was that one interesting theory.
Buggy has Xebec's blood/lineage.
BB has Xebec's inherited will.
Together, they will destroy the WG and replace IMU like Xebec couldn't.
After all Cross Guild read in Japanese is Kurosu Guildo, as in Kuro-hige, Blackheard.

I think they also share the problem of having an excess of strong individuals in their crews. Rocks was actually strong and Buggy will probably turn up to be also strong, maybe even stronger than BB

Why not? Now we are inflated with every kind of top tiers: elders, holy knights, now Gaban too also Xebec level is 99% likely already surpassed (in the lore) since Xebec could also be Roger match and better yet for sure Im and Joyboy are stronger.. so why not traduce him in a joke character and actually made the Cross guild the true heir of the Rocks pirate as a crew under a fraud, also father and son. The only thing that clicks badly with this is BB taking after Xebec (and so him being the true heir to Xebec and so he can't be a joke character but the inherited will ancestor of the final villain just like Roger is for Luffy).

Well he doesn't necessarily have to be weak does he? Just Buggy's dad.

And correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Oda himself once say Buggy had as much potential as Shanks?

I am all for Buggy- senchou gas so I like this theory. The first obstacle of the triggers falling upwards is not for no reason, I expect huge things from Buggy.
