We've seen many different Fishmen based of many different species Ocean Life. (Sharks, Eels, Octopuses, Fish, ect.) And many different breeds of them.
And unlike the Minks, or Humans, for the Fishmen the species does seem to have a affect on the strength or potential of the Fishman. With Sharks being the Strongest fighters.
With that being said.
Could we get Fishmen that come from the Prehistoric Seas? Like the Megaladon (the Largest Shark that ever existed) or the Giant Mollusk?
We also know that when Fishmen and Fishwomen mate and have a kid that child can be a completely different species of Animal than its parents and can get the genes from even distant relatives from generations ago.
