General & Others Anime is really bad

#1
I got into one piece last year when I decided that after Berserk I will give it a shot and collect another manga . Went with most popular one , liked it and now I own all 106 physical volumes of manga which I read 2 times with couple arcs for third time.

I never got into anime episode per episode but I do watch some stuff on youtube . Animation is really terrible in one piece. I was thinking Naruto vs Pain had bad animation but this is even worse, it just sucks .

Another terrible thing is how much dragged out everything is in anime which really ruins the fights. I enjoyed manga fights much more than anime simply because of how slow paced that shit is , it just kills the whole tension.

I guess good thing about anime is additional stuff they add so there are a lot more funny moments overall, which I really like.

The only tolerable way to watch the anime is through One Pace, although the edits they've done for some of the recent arcs aren't as short and smooth as some of their past edits.

I will say though that the filler stuff from before the timeskip was a lot better even though it wasn't exactly great, since they at least helped to flesh out the Straw Hats better, with some favorite fillers of mine being the G-8 arc and the one episode after Thriller Bark showing Brook trying to integrate with the crew and learning about their past adventures. Only post timeskip arc that's remotely as interesting is maybe the Marine Rookie Arc.

How's that one. Would you recommend it?

For a 'new' fan that's very impressive. You've done more for Oda and One Piece than most people here, including me. So thank you.

Absolutely.

Mostly yes, they tend to hire better staff for more important chapter animations but use trainees or random homeless people for all the other ones. There's generally a significant difference in quality between episodes.

Have you tried Attack on Titan by any chance?
The manga is great. The anime, especially the first season, can be very slow paced. But if you keep on it really pays off well.

Its pinnacle of literature I have read in my entire life. Manga is set in a kinda medieval setting ( my favorite ) and it contains real monsters and magic too . Drawings is considered as one of best in manga history by many and it contains gore which I like . I read it 4 times and first read is probably one of best experiences I had in my life , thats how good it is for me.

I didnt read attack on titan only 3 mangas I have read are Naruto ( only chapters from last 2 years before that I watched it 2 times as anime) , One piece and Berserk.

I mainly play video games , reading mangas comes after , but I like to own physical copies of mangas instead of reading online.

Thats pretty much always the case for any long running show.

Currently, as of Wano, I'd say that One Piece probably has one of the strongest productions of any long series ever.(and by long running I mean 100 episodes plus)
