And Kidd is definitely a team player when need be, and he was the first and only one who immediately thanked Zoro. The anime also had Luffy and Urashima clashing for 3 mins, making it look like he had similar AP to G3 Luffy. Even Batman had an extended clash in the anime, and even won. I wouldn’t be surprised if the anime had Zoro deflect the first Hakai and then have Kaido and BM launch a 2nd one
