Blame Oda for not respeking Midhawk 
Sengoku reaction at jumping Shanks with 3 admirals, Garp, BB, thousands of marines, vice admirals, Pacifista, Sentomarou etc etc. Vs Sengoku reaction at Cross Guild that supposedly has the "one man yonko crew" Mihawk in it.

Certain fans: The manga is telling us Mihawk is weaker than sick WB. We don't need the Oda to spell it out for us.
That same group of fans: Mihawk is stronger than Shanks. Oda is only talking about swords skill. If Oda wanted us to know Mihawk is stronger he would have spelled it out and actually said he's stronger.

Your entire poster speculation. Nobody has seen Mihawk go all out. The only reason Mihawk receive hate is because of people double standards.

Why would Oda imply Mihawk would fight with Whitebeard and Shanks if he's fodder. Why would he call Shanks vs Mihawk a "dream matchup" in his own words. Your skill is literally what adds strength to your blade, and so of course being skilled is a big component of being the strongest Swordsman, You need skill as well as strength to bring out the most in Yoru, a 2.20M Black blade.
