Speculations Another reason as for why I think Kizaru and Katakuri might have been rivals

so I posted a prediction about how their might be a possibility that Kizaru and Katakuri might have been rivals. this is the original post:

But everyone shitted on it because I don't know... all they cared about was POWER. but this is another reason, and it's in an SBS:

so you see oda actually never revealed to us why Katakuri's speed was so high(i doubt it was just because he wanted to protect his family, I mean first of all why speed? second that there shouldn't be a question in oda's mind about whether he should reveal and fresh Katakuri's character or not, the flashback was a given), maybe and I say MAYBE it was because he needed future sight and SPEED to keep up with Kizaru.

Kizaru is the worst person Katakuri can have a rivalry with given how he hard counters FS with his speed. He'd also be the best choice to compete with because he'd make the hardest possible challenge for him.

Katakuri is told to never had a difficult fight before Luffy. He never met any Admiral or other YC.

No man, i really just reread wci, that's the reason that i even came up with the idea.

Don't need to be strong to punch someone. Even Pound is punching Oven.

He was punched probably before he learned FS. Doesn't mean he fought strong people.

you see if that was the case i could see him say: how many decades has it been since i've been punched?(like big mom said to law and kid)
because he doesn't look like it but he is 48 years old and i don't think that he got his future sight recently based on how many decades big mom has been an emperor and based on how his siblings portray him

For now all we can do is assuming.

Also remember that his portrayal had some lies because even Brulee knew he touched the ground before.

rather we got info dump on his unbeaten record
along with the fact he hasnt even been hit in years.

Luffy in base for the most part dodged kaido's thunder bagua which was kaido's fastest attack. but luffy in snake man coulden't dodge any attacks from katakuri(and at that point they were both futer sight users so it's no all because of katakuri's future sight, it's mostly his speed)

That is true that it should have been mentioned BUT that would have been the case IF kata was a one time opponent and we were never going to see him again. literally i based this whole prediction based on the possibility that kata would come back to the story. cause then we can have a surprise and even a plote device for making more depth for kizaru's character

Kizaru volunteered to go fight linlin herself, what makes you think he is rivaled by one of her commanders?

And powerscaling does matter because I cannot see why Linlin would ever send katakuri to fight kizaru, unless she wanted to see him executed.
