How old are they for them not to know adv COA nor adv Coc. While Luffy learned all 3 forms of adv haki. It is the exact same situation with Crocodile pre time skip not knowing ( or maybe he knew but never used ) haki. Don't you find it weird ? Is there an explanation for this ? I get that Luffy is the main character but Katakuri‚ Doflamingo‚ King and Marco not having any form of advanced haki( except for Katakuri's future sight ) doesn't make sense.

No, because the same can be said for any 30 year old + pirate/marine.
Fighters have potential and not all fighters have the same potential and that is also true for real life.
These guys reached their peak but it wasn't enough, it is not a continuity error like preskip crocodile although the argument is that he got his spirit broken so his haki was weak.
Btw King used Ryo and Marco most probably has an advanced form of haki too.

Not everyone is gifted as the MC to pick up an advanced Haki ability over the course of a 12 hour battle from scratch. Katakuri spent his lifetime honing his CoO to eventually learn Future Sight.
Katakuri or Doflamingo having Advanced CoA would inherently mean they should be able to unlock Conquerors coating since the basics are the same. The only difference is the type of haki you flow out of your body.

A common misconception is that you can unlock advanced forms of haki if given enough time, this is false, as Rayleigh mentioned " Haki blooms in life/death situations". So unless you are putting yourself in situations where you'll either progress your haki or die, you are unlikely to awaken advanced forms of haki.
That's why someone like Luffy progresses at an insane rate in learning advanced forms of haki. He is constantly jumping into those life/death situations, e.g.
- He willingly entered a death match against Katakuri to learn Future sight.
- He enthusiastically took part in Queen's games knowing he could die, all in order to learn Ryou.
- He kept on fighting Kaido despite knowing that a very high possibility he would die.
I doubt Doflamingo was out trying to challenge strong foes like Kaido in order to progress his haki, he most likely was training
his devil fruit, which is why he is awakened.

Not about ACoA but ACoC as Oda stated doesn't seem a difficult thing to do and we have Luffy learning back from "coma".
ACoC is simply coating your attacks with CoC. Then anyone with CoC and CoA is easily capable of doing that. It's even weird that Luffy never thought about it before getting hit by Kaido.

The issue here is people thinking that just having CoC guarantees that with training you should be able to use CoC coating.
