Shanks is gonna show some insane haki/jedi wizard shit, he's like the Qui Gon Jin of OP for me, he could be Obi Wan instead too or something but I feel he's more Qui Gon Jin more somehow, even though I've not seen Star Wars films since I was a teenager LMAO! (Like 2 decades ago now, RIP)
I'm sure he's gonna have his own equivalent of voice of all things and breath of all things too and only he has shown haki equal to Joyboy himself apparently, the biggest haki feat in the series by far (except for turning a blade permanently black, hehehe).
I asked AI on who fits better for Shanks since my Star Wars knowledge is so little/rusty lol:

I think Shanks and his crew do follow in it too but they're more bigger picture too, not just pirate code but "greater good" or "pragmatic peacekeepers/balancers" or something.
I'd be extremely surprised if doesn't make a haki arm and even a haki susanoo tbh lol. The anime gave him a giant haki bird vs Kidd too:

The fact that he's a Celestial and had visited his family as a youth, and then went after Joyboy's devil fruit, I doubt he was completely ignorant.
Why would he go out of his way to steal a random rubber fruit?
And then, no wonder he puts all his faith in luffy after luffy eats it, because he probably saw that as "fate" anyway, the fact that luffy is the one to have ate it, meant it was always going to be him. We see Rayleigh relay this concept that there are no coincidences.
How else would he have that much confidence in Luffy, just because Shank's thinks Luffy is like him when he was a kid? he had no reason to give up his arm for this twerp that would have been like colon for example, just any other kid who dreamt of piracy.
Granted colon and luffy do both have a lineage anyhow. But again I don't know if shanks puts any stock in lineage, seeming as he walked away from his birth-right
