Questions & Mysteries Anyone else think Big Mom is more powerful than Kaido?

Do you think it’s likely Big Mom is stronger?

It's a matter of protrayal. Big Mom not being a conventional fighter, as well as a woman, makes Oda not really treat her the same way he would Kaido or other characters. This is why we get such a big disparity of her being rolled out of Onigashima by Robin and Jinbe, but then seeming almost indestructible when taking actual attacks. Oda won't just turn her into a punching bag the same way he can to Kaido.

The more a character gets exposed and fights, the more aware we become of their strenghts and weaknesses.
It's one of the reasons why we are seeing people starting to think of Katakuri as among the weakest of the first yonko commanders while thinking that Benn Beckman is bound to be the strongest, despite us seeing basically nothing about him.

Kaido is the WSC no reason to think BM is above him, but I would put her as his equal at best given their portrayal (bloodlusted Kaido vs BM, Hakai combo) and dynamic (brother-sister). Better than Shanks for now at least.

In an actual impartial fight(like say in a game?), BM will most probably win, she is a better fighter as per me. Kaido is just brute force, but BM is kinda an allrounder thanks to her DF too.

That's why we shouldn't focus too much in feats and abilities, because at the end of the day what matters more is portray.
Kaido's more durable even though he has scars while Big Mom has perfect skin, why? Because Kaido's durability is what was hyped about him.
Who's stronger? Kaido, Big Mom admitted that herself.
How much big is the gap? The same of Akainu and Kuzan, Kaido is just slightly stronger, Big Mom was called a second Kaido.

No, in terms of durability, they are equal, there's no evidence proving the opposite.
In terms of natural hardness she is above, but hardness =/= durability.

But that doesn't mean she is stronger because in that aspect she is above. The strength of a character is based on several stats and features. Overall Kaido is slightly stronger despite Linlin being above in other aspects as well.
There is no evidence to prove it otherwise and deny Oda's portrayal and statements about the "strongest".
