Anyone else works 60+ hours a week?

In the past I've done nearly 70 a few times. But I do it with a purpose not just make money for the sake of it. It also depends the type of job...

For me, the free time is too good to pass, so I'd deny any job like that. But probs to you.
Time is money brotha.

Nowdays I get mentally insane if I stay at work for crazy hours. Like my mind needs some type of stimulation and feel like literally running away.

I work 8 hours in a company (registered, where I have social, health and retirement and work experience)
but I work privately many jobs to get extra because i have family, so most part of year i work over 10 hours some months i work every day when is season
Feel like 8 hours is probably standard for most workers if full time except for some privileged professions :josad: At least if they got 1-2 days at week to rest.

Lmao, and what you doing with that money if you barely have any free time to enjoy life?
I'm sorry for people who have to work these hours to survive due to being poorly paid, but with any decently paid job, there is no need to work any more than 40 hours to live a decent and wealthy life.
my boy works in investment banking and he easily made $300k+ last year and sometimes working 80+ hours a week. I’d definitely do that for a while if it means making that amount

Not very common in France , it's 35/40 hours mostly

I do 35 hours, but I have a 2 hours break, work around 1/2 hours a day actually and I leave 30 min before the end, no work during week-ends and 50 days for holidays a year

The pay is low though (1400€ per month)

I used to. Wasn't worth the money at the expense of my mental health. All you do is work, no outside life, no fun, no socialization. not worth it.
Even worse if the daily task is quite stressing.

I have found some people who said, their daily life is actually better thanks to pandemic (slower business, less tasks per day). I find their words relatable. Some people have to work for 60 to 70 hours per week in 2019, and in 2020 suddenly we can be at home already at 4.30 PM.
