Well I believe that CoC would be nice, I have never been on the unique thing train also because he would be top tier because of genes idk.
I do hope he has some internal struggle and develops CoC.

Also I think that for be a top tier you need a strong fruit or ability or CoC on top of talent/physical training.

Yeah, either advanced conqueror or top tier DF seems to be a requirement to reach top tier.

Thing with sanji is, by the time Sanji's lineage will be fully developed, it will look like he has a mythical zoan DF.

It's already looking like a solid DF - super speed, high durability, blue flames.
I predict it will develop to magma esque flames or black flames in the future. The super speed stamina might increase to the point he can be in it for a very long time. Just these two aspects are solid enough to be equivalent to a top tier DF.

Just this, plus top tier advanced armament same observation = a top tier

Me personally, i don't care about Sanji having CoC coating or not like it was a musthave, even if his chances got even higher after Gaban's introduction and the existence of a Left Hand being a thing. There are many different ways of making Sanji extremely strong right now.

70% of me only wants CoC for Sanji to prove haters wrong, its all about agenda, its awesome to guess things right (the silhouette being revealed to be Gaban for example).
The other 30% wants to see a version of Devil Leg mixed with CoC coating

I can criticize COC while still believing that a certain characters chances of unlocking it are high. I don't see the contradiction. Like I understand how powerful Sanji is meant to be with or without it but there's also this narrative around COC that I can't ignore which aligns with where Sanji will end up. So it's just a matter of if Oda will make COC necessary for someone to reach the level required to defeat Admirals and Goroseis. If it's a must then he has to unlock it if it isn't then he doesn't need it. But even if he doesn't need it-it doesn't mean Oda won't have him unlock it just to prop up Luffys status. So who knows really.
