Controversial Aokiji definitely didnt lose to Akainu.

He is the true fleet admiral. Losing his leg was just a cover for going undercover. Akainu and Aokiji are both working together to fool everyone. they're both doing things they hate to do. Aokiji is working hard very hard and Akainu is sitting out on fights.
If Aokiji remained the same ( I mean followed the Burning Justice ) he would potentially win.

Akainu won, fair and square.

@Fleet Admiral Lee Hung
Thoughts on this take of mine?:

I think it's a pretty interesting concept. I mean the fact that Aokiji became more chill and laid back while Akainu was going ham.

( By any means I don't say Aokiji would be leagues above Akainu if they went ham at the same rate, just an interesting concept ).

I might've mistaken the name for his Justice before but he was definitely more hard on.

I mean they might have made a deal after the battle, but the battle was serious. At best I can see Aokiji winning the fight and spare Akainu, with the latter calling him naive, attacking him from behind causing his leg loss but then sparing Kuzan's life too to return the favor. But that's just something I've created to justify your take, the easier explanation is that Akainu is slightly stronger and that's it.

I think I might be on point with the Justice that Aokiji followed stuff.

Firstly it was Burning Justice and then Lazy Justice. I think if Aokiji remained true to the Burning Justice he might've won.

It appears Akainu just wanted to win more than Aokiji, during their final clash he wanted it more and finally broke through Aokiji's defenses and took off his leg in the process.

Well they're comparable, of course will plays a huge factor as you said, but according to Jinbe in that scenario Kuzan opposed his rival with resolve, so I think they both have the strongest wills among marines.
In fact, I place both a step above the other admirals.

He did but this is a Lazy Justice Kuzan, Akainu's Justice makes me believe he wanted this victory more no matter how much Kuzan opposed him.

Burning Justice Kuzan would be a different discussion.

Even if Akainu and Aokiji are working together in secret, Aokiji losing an leg is a bit too extreme imo. Like I get that you want to make the story as believable for other people as possible but that's still too big of a cost.
I'm not saying he didn't lose a leg in a fight I'm just saying he didn't lose a leg and then lose a fight. wouldn't make sense story telling wise that the man sengoku wanted to lead the marines would get beat up and then sent on a mission to infiltrate bbs crew by the man who beat him up.

A Sanjino fan being delusional as usual.
