Okay Luffy dodged an explosion that was set off while he was in the center of it IN BASE FORM. While Zoro's top speeds are comparable to faster than Gear second.

But you'll say dodging explosions isn't a faster than sound speed of because one piece =/= real world

Okay pre time skip Zoro was dodging laser beams and multiple attacks from Kuma and even managed to blitz Kuma at the end. The same Kuma who was fast enough to come in between a heated fight between Light speed man Kizaru and Rayleigh and talk to Rayleigh MID FIGHT

But again One piece =/= real world

Okay. So what if Apoo's sound waves are actually faster than sound. They are sound but

The very examples you are mentioning should already be answering your question that one piece =\= real world

So its true. Apoo's sound attacks could themselves be slower or faster than actual sound?

Or maybe all sound in the one piece universe could be faster or slower

So if Oda makes it a point to show that Luffy or Zoro literally cannot move out of range of Apoo's attacks. That could mean anything. They are slower than Apoo but then who he hell knows how fast Apoo even is

There's no indication that Apoo's music is any different than other sounds in one piece in speed of travel

I think it is better to just focus on the manga alone and not try to import. Because even though Zoro has dodged bullets at close range and as you said moved faster than some people were able to see but that doesn't necessarily indicate that in the one piece world, he is Mach xyz as if he was in the real world.

If Apoo is just as fast as them in movement, then of course they won't be able to move out of range....I think Oda will expose a weakness of Apoo soon enough

Also I've already answered that armament haki can block the attacks... depending on how strong it is
