Time to talk about the snowy and medicine-themed arc that introduced the most well-known, original and cutest doctor in One Piece who became a full part of the Straw Hat Pirates, Tony Tony Chopper, and that also introduced Dr Hililuk and Dr Kureha, Dalton and Wapol.

The arc which also introduced the concept of the Reverie and mentionned for the first time a pirate that would have his importance later in the story, Blackbeard.

What is your general opinion about Drum Island arc ? What aspects of the story did you find interesting or not ? What did you think about Dr Hililuk, Kureha, Wapol or Dalton ?

Dalton understanding Choppers misery with the Doctor really open my heart. Just having a talking raccoon dog joining the ship is a highlight. But, Hilchuck can she ever die or is the old bitch immortal? The way Chopper went and understudied her and Kureha is just beautifully written how one day he will make best pirate doctor!

Very emotional and a jump into how important medicine is in the real world just like in OP's world. Very educational as well.

I can't wait for Chopper's character to develop further.

I wonder how many times peoples need reread this arc for understand and enjoy Chopper better.
This arc made clear how adventures and fights matter in Chopper so much as his doctor job,and how he has potential as fighter. But currently,almost everyone forgot these things.
Chopper need repair in Onigashima War.
