Powers & Abilities Are all air slashes invisible?

#1
Are Kaido's air cuts unique to Kaido or we're we all along supposed to have imagined that air cuts in the the whole One piece universe are invisible and Oda just draws them for reader's sake?

Points to note:

1. Denjiro somehow managed to perceive the Invisible cuts despite he himself saying that they are invisible. And we've seen Denjiro block air cuts from Zoro so it's possible that you just have to be very perceptive in order to "see" air cuts.

2. Of course Wind in real life is invisible so this question is more towards the meta of the story and Oda's intentions.

3. Air cuts include Zoro's of course, T-bone, the CP-9 Rankyaku and even Flying Shigan, Zombie Ryuma, Dory Brogy and Big mom's Elbaf spear and of course that one Very big Air cut from Mihawk in Marineford. Were all these Invisible all along?

Denjiro perceived them because the debris in front of them as you can see in the panel before is seen being sliced.

They are visible, or at least this is what the look tells us. I think it can make absolutely sense either way, because the ground is marked by those slashed.

Also OP characters have hell of sights, they can surely see them coming even if they are faster than what the anime and manga make it look.

What Kaido did was most likely inspired by this:
https://www.japanpowered.com/folklore-and-urban-legends/kamaitachi-the-sickle-weasel
http://yokai.com/kamaitachi/
"They move so quickly that they are invisible to the naked eye. They come and go with the wind. "
"However, legends of invisible beasts that ride the wind and attack humans in a similar manner are found in all regions of Japan, and the sickle weasel remains a popular explanation."

Oda definitely inspired by something like this at least.

It reminds me of what Temari can do with her summon in Naruto:

To answer the question more directly, I do think they were invisible even if not "literally" but the attack was so fast, you just can't see it happen.

No because rakyaku was perceived by people which is a flying slash.

The difference is that this wasn’t a flying slash, but sharpened wind. Like how Apoos was sharpened sound. Wind as a thing is invisible so that sharpened wind was also invisible.

Well Zoro without armament Haki was able to react to Kaku's rankyaku.
If it was invisible, Idk how he'd be able to do that.

You can probably sense some turbulence in the when heavy air projectile is approaching

Air slashes is usually visible. You can avoid it if you react fast enough. Kaido's case is different. His slashes is invisible because that's one of his ability.:kayneshrug:
@Zoro D Goat

Why?

Like are they not air slashes? What makes them different exactly?

Oda determines if the air slashes are visible or invisible.
@CbShadow

Has anyone besides Kaido ever had invisible cuts?
