General & Others Are "elemental" powers becoming stagnant?

Are "Elemental" powers (E.g Fire,Lightning,Wind...ect) becoming boring/uninventive? And Why?
With some powers/Abilities the creative potential is only limited by the imagination, (a great example of this is Crackers biscuit power, turning into armor, dolls, extra arms) but with Elemental based powers if feels like the powers are the same even across multiple series, without any big changes or ideas.

What's the difference between Cracker's powers & earth Elemental powers? Pica created stone golem, Cracker created biscuit golems.

Marvel mutants have all Powers one can think of, there really isn't an infinity number of abilities one can give to his characters.

The difference between Cracker and Pica is with Pica's powers is there didn't seem to have the same creativity, Pica his stone so let's have him grow bigger, and have stone golems, the most interesting thing he did was change the landscape of Dressrosa. With Cracker when you think of Biscuits you don't think of them being useful which gives the author to get creative with it and play around.

So Cracker power is more creative cause no one expects biscuits to be useful in combat?

I find Pica more creative. At least his golem could spring another golem from inside him, kinda cool. Compared to a mundane extra limbs ability that Cracker's got.

Hmmm. I see what you mean ^^ you must look no further then fire powers in this series! Fire power is so overused by Oda, we have Mama, Ace, Doflamingo, Sanji, Ichiji, Luffy, Akainu, Holdem and who knows how many more able to use it! Lightning is bad too with the minks, Mama, and Enel! These powers are what Oda gives characters who he doesn't know how to round out otherwise! My opinion but still xD why else hand it out like candy on halloween?

The difference is that Pica is supposed to be Pica level and Cracer is supposed to be Cracker level. If you can make Biscuits more ressistant than steel, then anything can be done.
