Questions & Mysteries Are Sun God Nika and Joyboy the very same person?

I mean they both are legends right? It makes sense for luffy to be both thats why I think they're the same person.

I don't have any substance to it. It's just my guts that are telling me that sun god nika = joyboy.

What are your thoughts?

I think Sun God Nika is probably a diety which existed a very very long time ago.

Joy Boy inherited Sun God Nika's will and the former user of gomu-gomu, a.k.a the first Nika.

Luffy is the second Nika.

There probably will be another God which is going to be the counterpart to Sun God Nika.

Emo(Imu) the Sad Girl have inherited this evil God's will.

I agree. If we look at Sengoku and his fruit and compare Buddha to Nika we can safely assume that people yearned and wanted to be free.
