The first one is the real Earth God, who fought alongside with the Hell Serpent vs Real Sun God Nika
Second war is Imu with the df of the Earth God, used the sun vs Joyboy and his army.

Like @Fujishiro said it, the second version seems like a hybrid version, probably used by Imu who eat that df.
In first war true gods fought each other, in second war devilfruit users fought each other.

If you think about it, Imu feat in second war looks impressive, but Nika handling both the real Earth God and World Hell Serpent is a hella huge feat.

Similar wings ; similar mouth to some extent ; both have horns etc. Good chance they are related in some way.

It just makes no sense that the Earth God is also the Forest God.. And the horns are inversed..

So it wouldn't be a reincarnation and depicting Imu twice?.. That doesn't make much sense too..

I think Imu is a vessel of the earth god aka the forest god who then sends demons ( proto Gorosei) into the world and starts a war against the ancient Kingdom and Joyboy.

The horns are oreintated differently, and the top character doesn't have the neck/nape spikes the left character has

It seems like the forest god was also presence in the first World. It is hard to judge if the forest God was evil or not.

The thing is, the actual gods had unique powers, without dfs.

I can see the Earth God had his own unique power. The devilfruit became real after the forest god made them real. The way Nika and Earth God df got born.

I don’t believe that Imu’s abilities come from a fruit. It now seems more likely that they are directly from Hell itself.
- The way it’s shared with the Gorosei with them being directly called demons rather than fruit users.
- The strange feeling the appearance of the Gorosei ignited in the folks at Egghead.
- All yokai/demon/hell related beings like Cerberus related to him.
- Pentagrams to summon them.
- Sabo saying that Hell was in the throne room at Mariejois.
- The pointed devil tail Imu was using to attack.

It seems that devil fruits only became a thing when the god of the forest started making them in the Second World. Therefore the Serpent of Hell’s abilities should predate that.
