From whose perspective tho? From our perspective whose experience is limited to our senses, imo its not a simulation. But from the higher power/god's perspective, theres no difference. Since all life should be no more than a game-toy-program-simulation to an all-powerful figure, and for that figure, we should be insignificant enough for those terms to be completely irrelevant/meaningless.
