I agree every story is political, that is a rather seperate point. Can you be a leftist and be homophobic, authoritarian and anti immigration?
Yes, we can all be homophobic through biases, but leftist have to work on negating that even in themselves

No Leftist can be anti-immigration. If one is anti-immigration, they are no leftist
No Leftist can be antiLGBT

Being a leftist, is understanding a minimum, the structural nature of the world and acting toward the destruction of the current system toward a better tomorrow. Supporting these system puts us the the team leftists are fighting.

I think you can think a lifestyle that a LGBT sexuality is bad and be a leftist
Which is something really hard to do. People who think LGBTQI+ are bad are usually casted out from leftist circles as they will have biases and therefore behavior that will influence how they talk with LGBTQI+

We can be leftist by still supporting LGBTQI+ law, but there is one moment or another where anti-lgbtqi+ baises will influence the interests of the person and the person will start to slide toward reactionnarism.

We are having a big conflict in the radical internet leftists circles in France because of this.

Yeah so if a Mod says he is pro LGBT (which I am sure every mod is) you would have to say every mod is leftist
Being pro LGBT does not necessarily mean being leftist. It can also be pink washing. Macron and Israel are also saying they are pro-LGBTQI+, but they are highly transphobic, homophobic and use their pink washing to attack LGBTQI+ who support Gaza.

A good bunch of factors are required to be considered an ally of leftism. Liberals are not.

On this forum, no moderator is pro-LGBTQI+ either way

I think lust in general is bad, nsfw content or sex outside of marriage, it's not an anti-LGBT bias

Your point is that being pro LGBT doesn't mean being leftist, to illustrate this you use Macron and Israel as examples, but then say they aren't actually pro LGBT?

Yeah nobody's messing with them if I have something to say about it
I considered a lot of Muslims, Jews and Christian as Comrads. But we are all aware that there are contradictions in the different kinds of beliefs with our common praxis between what one thinks and how one must act toward LGBTQI+ (specifically).

The way we think of someone influences the way we act, if a father don't like his kid, no matter how hard he tries not to, he still risks to hurt him because of that, mentally or physically, big time or just a little.

That's why we must all be very careful with our biases. As a man, I'm now very careful with the way I talk to women or a racialized person, and a person who do not like LGBTQI+ internally, must be really careful how they treat them as well.

No. I implied two things:

- Being pro-LGBTQI+ is not enough to be leftist. We also need to be AT THE VERY LEAST anticapitalist, antiableist, ally to feminism, anticolonialist etc.. Being leftist is understanding how the world works (at least in the big lines) and fighting people who run the current systems of dominations.
- Saying we are pro-LGBTQI+ doesn't mean we are leftist and doesn't mean we are pro-LGBTQI+ to begin with.

Yeah but your point was that Macron and Israel SAY they're pro-LGBT but actually aren't, and this proves they aren't leftist. Doesn't this mean if they were actually (and not in word only) pro LGBT, they would be leftist?

Like I said, being pro-LGBTQI+ is not enough to be leftist. Macron being leftists or not doesn't negate the fact that he is flirting with fascists, that he brings neoliberals reforms on societies, that he repress protest. (and so many more) and Israel is a colonial state that makes a genocide, apartheid, war crimes, starvation etc..

Macron is closer to the far right than leftism and Israel is straight up fascist lol

So is Macron a leftist or not?

You don't think there is at least one anti-capitalist, antiableist, feminist ally anti colonial Mod? I would guess all of them are, let alone at least one
