I doubt Oda doesn't know what the One Piece is considering he's said that the ending to the series is like the one thing he's had planned from the beginning.

And it's not too hard to infere from the themes of the story and the kind of message Oda wants to deliver that it'll probably be something that will unite the world in some way.

The final war interests me more because that's the actual conflict where shit will go down and where we'll see if Oda can actually deliver on all the plot threads he's built.

Oda does Lore better than he does fights. In all honesty One piece probably has the worst fights in all the big 3.
I'd say Naruto has overall the best fights. And by a huge margin.

Bleach has too many plot convenient power ups for my liking. I'm not saying OP and Naruto don't suffer from that too, but it's not used as often as in Bleach.

Before they devolved into who has more squiggly shit in their eyes and who can make the bigger chakra ball, Naruto fights had a nice blend of tactics and choreography

Only good thing about Naruto. Of course, they are good because they involve strategies and combinations and have good choreography. One-piece fights while not based on strategies or tactics, they have clashes based on ideals and themes. One piece is good at including themes and ideals while characters fight each other. Only final moments of one piece fights have good choreography.

Anyways, I am more interested in the void century reveal. Without strong conflict and void century info,, war arc look shallow and just fanservice.

I think even in fighting about ideals and themes Naruto is still better, kinda whole point of "Talk no Jutsu", only one u can argue that was bad is Obito one

What I like about One Piece is that every fight is justified. Battles don't occur just because Luffy wants to be the Pirate King. There is always another, more important reason, usually to correct injustices made to the inhabitants of an island, to one of his nakama, or both. If One Piece fights were all about who's stronger, I wouldn't have watched. That's Kaidou's way of thinking. There's even a reason why Luffy wants to get stronger: to protect his nakama, so that he'll never have to lose any of them.

I like One Piece because it has a bit of everything: comedy, suspense, mysteries, sad past stories, values of friendship and true justice (unlike the government's so-called justice), correction of wrongs and that there is no black-and-white good vs evil, but people can change sides and help Luffy even after he defeated them, without the remains of any grudge.

The "big 3" are hard to nail down because OP is the only constant, lol.

But whatever skill Oda may generally have with fights is extremely diminished in war type situations like Marine Ford whereas yeah, anything interesting in the lore is basically connected to the time before Luffy was born. So definitely the void century
