Lol it is funny because OPers usually defend this line by Luffy by saying stuff like "because Luffy is indeed having fun because his goal is finally within his sight" or something else as absurd as that but I can easily also apply that logic to Naruto "Obitio is the coolest guy" and make it sound more deep than it is by saying something like... "Naruto wanted a better world for future generations which means sacrifices and forgiveness are important. Just like in the Bible it teaches you that your sins will be forgiven if you repent. So that is why he said Obitio is the coolest guy."
