How did Law even cut it like that if he wasn’t using Room? Guess Law learned the Foxfire style offscreen
What's Foxfire style business with it?
Misery is a combination of Hera and Prometheus, lightning and fire, and the lightning component is definitely the dominant one if we have to pick...
If we really want to go with the route of Law learning an elemental cutting skill, then it's lightning-cutting.

Something I wished for Killer back in the rooftop days, tbh :catsweat:

No, it lacked the visual impact of other finishers that also took human appearance; just imagine Misery working like Magellan's Venom Demon or Big Mom turning herself into it. It isn't just that there's no actual damage made by it, the biggest issue is that it lacks power at every level; even the panels are drawn in a powerless way, they don't make any impact, they have no rhetoric behind.

We don't even need to compare it to other characters: Prometheus as a titanic sun engulfing everything under it or Zeus covering the sky and blasting a whole forest with lightning felt more of a finisher than Misery because they had presence, they had visual power.

So, Misery seems to be Linlin’s last resort with Hera instead of Zeus as a thunder homie. She is able to almost make a new creation by having them fuse with Napoleon and making Misery out of all three. It is living fire with bracelets of lightning, so we should assume it has mastery of both elements alongside having the homie invulnerability to most attacks.

Does Misery impress you? Do you think it’s a cool finisher for Linlin? Do you think she has stronger?

IMO Misery is underwhelming. Nothing about it screams it’s anything special apart from being used as Linlin’s last resort. It removes individual advantages from the other homies — flight, ranged attacks, Napoleon itself — and I’m not sure it compensates for any of those losses. Without his fruit and with almost zero pure swordsmanship to his name, a Law as close to beaten as he’s been since Dressrosa sliced it and stalled it effortlessly.

Just my opinion, but it would’ve been cooler if Linlin turned herself into Misery and gained a pseudo logia form.
It literally did nothing lol

Misery looks like mother Carmel, so it's more a representation of BM's charcter arc. Other than this it looks boring and it's strength is underwhelming. I'm fully disappointed with it as an attack.

Oda just wanted to draw boobs
