I don't care because Luffy vs BB is set in stone, same for Zoro vs Shiryu (probably his last fight before Mihawk) while the other ones are pointless, secondary, filler, short fights which will be appetizers like in every damn arc from chapter 1 to now.

Jimbei is one of Luffy's heavy hitters. Why would the chances of him fighting a guy whose portrayal was of zero importance be so high compared to Burgess?

Oda will likely use the exact same stories to set up this fight as the others:
1. Luffy vs Blackbeard - Strongest
2. Zoro vs Shiryu - Second strongest, very little actual story
3. Sanji vs Lafitte - All of Sanjis fights start with him rescuing someone about to die. And with Pudding in the jail of a demonic sheriff, pretty clear how that’ll likely end up
4. Jinbe vs Pizarro - Jinbes only gotten one fight with the straw hats, and it was about the racism towards fishman. A corrupt king who likely owned fishman slaves is very likely going to be his next opponent
5. Usopp vs Van Augur - Usopp fighting someone he has no hopes of winning, however, strengthens his resolve to fight to prove he can be a brave warrior (likely to avenge his dad)
6. Nami vs Devon - The woman fight. Oda has always made Nami fight the token woman, can’t see this ending now.
7. Franky vs Wolf - rarely any narrative for Franky fights. Just fits him
8. Brook and Chopper vs Doc Q and Strongsr - Oda doesn’t respect these two as fighters so they’ll likely have to tag team.

What about robin? Robin vs devon seems more likely. Also while I do want sanji vs Lafitte , he is also navigator of BBP

Robins fights usually involve people making light of the past. Black Maria using robins past as a weapon and Yama destroying ruins. She’s also the only female oda has paired up with men multiple times.

I feel like we need more info on the BB Pirates. Only certainty is if there’s only one female, Namis fighting her

I think that Vasco Shot is most likely a blobfish fishman who uses the drunken style martial art.
So it would be fishman karate vs drunken style, water vs alcohol, fishman vs fishman.
