Those polls just goes to show how little expectations the fandom has. Completely brainwashed by Oda's marketing team. You can literally remove Wano's whole 150 chapter from One Piece and skip it and the readers would know as much information then before Wano. Nothing has happened in Wano. Kaido is equivalent to the Z-sword in Dragon Ball Z. Just a training arc that can be removed.
Funny story, my little brother hasn't caught up with Wano yet. He is still in act 1, but when I told him Oda keeps spamming Joy Boy in Wano just for false hype, my little brother replied back saying "I just had the chills when you said Joy Boy". Lol, my little brother is a perfect example of a brainwashed fan. All Oda has to do is mention the word Joy Boy and his fanbase will get aroused. I reckon about 90% of the fanbase is like my lil bro.

It’s disappointing. I didn’t have much expectations for it but it still managed to surprise me in even worse ways.
There was some average to good content of course, but such things that are the bare minimum are pretty much expected at this point.
Overall, it’s just sad that the longest arc by far in the series is also the most disappointing one with some of the worst writing decisions.

Firstly , i specified why people hate wano in the here on contrary general tendency
secondly , i did not say perfect arc. I said wano not perfect not bad .
- stupid fake deaths ( totally agree )
- short fights ( flying 6) ( character inflation , tooo kany character in wano but even bedore time skip fights has always short . Remember sanji and zoro fights in enies lobby . However , except sasaki shit , i like foghts of topi roppo )
- characters like Usopp, Chopper and Brook did not shine ( normal , aa always , in the elbaf , these characters can shine , also brook have shined too much in the WCI , remember dressrosa usopp plotline , and choper pathetic unfortunately:)
- power ups through flashbacks and defeat ( this is so interesting approaching, what is the problem with that ? )
- dragged plot lines ( which ones )
- no tension ( I agree )
- countless unsolved plot lines ( wano still ongoing , and this is oda style , which arc did oda solve plotlines ? Oda loves putting more mysterious plotline for next arcs. This is his style )
- no awakening or good flashback for Kaido ( to me , i got every answer from kaido flashback . And oda did not prefer to explain god valley incident only . That means oda want to hide joyboy facts and why did god valley happen . This is so normal . Because this can put at end of the story in terms of importsnce )
- Queen being dumb and hurting his allies ( meh )
- Tama's plot device df ( what is the problem ? Every arc one side character introduced at the begining of arc and he or she showed something . wci bege , ph law , dressrosa rebecca , fi shirohoshi . This is tradition of post time skip one piece . Tama boring yes but that does not mean bullshit )
- the Gifters having ugly ass designs ( depiction of smile df effect . You dont like it so respect )
- BMP being useless ( i could not join more this idea )

Keep in mind, most of these people started reading OP less than 5 years ago (GLR even made a poll about it), so they’re soaking in the adrenaline of the moment, Naruto was pretty much the same, when Naruto was basically confirmed to be God, everyone was hyped, and nobody gave a shit Neji died protecting Hinata as his destiny foretold, but now it’s seen as a jarring moment and betrayal of its earlier themes. Come some years after One Piece’s end, and Who’s Who talking about Nika will be seen as the start of the downfall.
Imo, the thing was fixed the instant we got the Raizou is fine scene, after that, the SH and allies had the easiest time ever, remaining unrealistically united like a hive mind, and I bet Zoro even forgot about Sanji risking to bring Big Mom in their battle against Kaidou, ain’t no chance we’ll ever have repercussions from that.
