Lmao, I guess I'm wrong then.
My exposure to ZKK was mostly from YT back then, I was more of a casual OP reader until the late part of Wano.
Those guys were mostly pushing Yonko vs supernovas, rather than Zoro 1v1 Kaido.
And even here, was this really supporters by majority of ZKK pushers? Or just by few?
What was the distribution?

Zoro is kinda confirmed to be by Oda himself, but ZKK wouldn't happen regardless cause Oda is the author.
Law landing the finishing blow on Doflamingo had as much or more narrative buildup as ZKK. Yet it didn't happen. That's when any idea about ZKK should've gone under. Oda is a massive MC dicksucker, it would never be anyone other than Luffy ever.
In the hands of Togashi, Kishimoto or Mashima, ZKK would've had a decent chance of actually happening. Not when the author is Oda.

I'll take myself as an example and always said, that either Zoro deals the finishing blow (beheading) above the flower capital after a group fight (SHs was my bet) or Luffy and Kaido incapacitate each other but Kaido wakes up before Luffy (like most of the time) and Zoro finishes Kaido while he tries to kill Luffy. The reasoning was to parallel Ryuma so everyone had to see Zoro behead the Dragon while he was threatening everyyhing, not just killing a downed opponent.
