Questions & Mysteries Arlong still alive?

#1
This got me thinking, did Luffy actually killed Arlong? Does a attack like that could actually kill him? Did Luffy actually killed Arlong the first actual enemy he had?

I think he is one of the escapees on the level 6 of impel down,he mightve lose to a battle or he won when Blackbeard was looking for a crew he probably didnt got killed because of his fishmen genes thats just one of the examples or he won..

There was actually a interview of Oda about this, Oda talk about why Luffy doesnt kill his enemies, Oda stated that in Luffy’s era once you defeat a person thats actually the same as death, this is why Zoro cried when he got defeated, perhaps this is what Crocodile felt when he got defeated by Luffy, and even Luffy had the same concept like from marineford and maybe Arlong too i mean why not specially Arlong because his pride is too much that you can little bit compare him to doflamingo (but dofi is on a another level much worst than kaido)

So there’s two ways this could actually be a interesting one if he survived, either he joined blackbeard and he might have a special role in the future because of Jimbei… or Arlong now’s lives a peaceful life with humans maybe even married a human if you cant find a reason why he cant live with one.

Hachi said Arlong is in prison so no
I'd prefer it if he didn't come back into the story though cause imo it'd feel like forced drama for Nami and Jimbei

idk between jimbei and arlong tho there’s no closure they seem a very good friends and theyre the only one on onepiece who had this.I just hope hachi was right that he was in prison because what if he became a slave for the Celestial dragons? even the way oda drew Jimbei when theyre talking about arlong he seems to still care.

It's literally stated that Arlong got in prison. Don't remember if it was Impel Down or somewhere else.
if it wasnt impel down, where would you take someone as strong as arlong who can actually had a chance to take over the 4 blues?

Arlong will end up as the slave of a Celestial Dragon, I think. Keep in mind Arlong modeled Arlong Park after Sabaody Park: Arlong's entire arc is tied into slavery.

I think this will lead to Nami (who I believe is a Celestial Dragon), into saving Arlong from the Celestial Dragons, completing her character arc with Fishmen and racism.

i dont like the idea of him being a slave tho, id preety much like him find peace. Plus he wont last long if he was a slave he will rather die! think about… I like Arlong’s crew too they hate humans but when Luffy was walking without any discrimination on them, the way Arlong’s crew was amaze made me think that they really not that bad it seems to me they just want equality

If Judge wasn't sure that he and his children could take over North Blue alone , no way Arlong could

Arlong gets molested the moment he meets Smoker
actually arlong could with the help of Nami, Nami knew how the currents works, this could make the fishmen so fast on the water think about how the going merry suvive all those times it was all because of Nami. Even Jimbei stated that the sunny was invincible because of nami

and they could avoid trouble just buy paying corrupt marines

Idk I kinda hate the idea of Nami forgiving Arlong after everything he did to her
