I see a lot people saying Kaido having awakening is 2 Piece.

Do people think this fanfic below is really true?

My opinion that is Kaido has awakening:

Kaido clearly has awakening, that Drunken Bagua form where his Hybrid changes shape, as well as Flame Bagua are most likely awakening.

Eyebrows changes similar to Luffy's G5.

Big mom also got bigger, as far as we know Soul Fruit doesn't make people bigger, thats most likely awakening.

Drunken Bagua, Flame Bagua are all weird looking transformations, as I explained in my previous post.



Especially Flame Bagua is a really weird transformation since we know from Raizo when he was deflecting Blast Breath right back at Kaido it hurt Kaido, as well as G5 Luffy doing the same thing with deflecting Blast Breath hurt Kaido too, then Kaido uses a Flame Bagua form which consumes his own body with a superior magma like fire which is obviously much stronger than his Blast Breath is a very weird technique that contradicts with him getting hurt over Blast Breath attacks, it can be easily an awakening.

This is answered. Kaku never had that box saying he has awakening but everyone accepts it as awakening. So Kaido actually explaining what awakening is in detail to Luffy should be enough for that.

This is answered. Kaku never had that box saying he has awakening but everyone accepts it as awakening. So Kaido actually explaining what awakening is in detail to Luffy should be enough for that.

He can't mirror a random zoan awakening when he has mythical zoan, which works different.

He clearly says ''we'' call it awakening, clearly implies he is one of the awakened users. How does he know how awakening works, Kaido doesn't just say Luffy ''must'' have awakening, he even explains it.

Neither have any remniscent of awakening nor are they different forms.

Drunken Bagua is just a hybrid form

Drunken Bagua is just more beastly than his average hybrid. Neither the eyebrows, the bigger nose or the pointy fangs are something that doesn't belong to his beast form (do leopards naturally have a black cloud around their body?). We have no way of distinguishing Drunken Bagua from an hybrid closer to the hybrid form in the continuum that zoan users move through when they go from base to full form.

Flame Bagua isn't even a transformation (which is supposedly what Zoan awakening gives, a transformation): Kaidou is still in there in full beast form, just covered by flames.

Oda probably wants to seperate Yonko/Admirals by giving one AdvCOC and giving the other Awakening. Only Luffy will surpass BOTH by having both.

There's no way that Oda would clearly & undisputedly show villains like Doffy and Katakuri, who were precursors to Kaido, with their awakenings and then expect the reader to just assume that Kaido has it based on a few minor changes to his face despite the fact that we had never seen a Zoan awakening transformation before.

Well, there is a way because Oda is all over the place. But it still wouldn't make sense.

At least until Impel Down where Croc mentions "Awakening" for the first time.
