Kid, law, shiryu, ect. cannot be the new whitebeard. The principle thing that put WB apart from the rest of the yonko was his devil fruit. Yeah he had ACoC, but so does every top tier CoC user.

Shanks's mastery of ACoC was seemingly on par with WB's. So what put WB over? What gave him the power to destroy the world? The gura gura no mi. And only one person has that DF at the moment.

Tbh they have a similar system with divisions, and Blackbeard being the opposite WB, but it doesn't matter much imo with these paralells, according to Kaido he sees Oden/Shanks/Roger/WB in Luffy, similar with BB, he's like Xebec, opposite WB etc.

Parallels ain't everywhere, even saying that Kidd or Law are the new Whitebeard is a reach, but their case is at least debatable.

why can't people forget that the new generation won't be parallel to the old generation, but rather would surpass the old gen and creat a new legacy?
the only parallels are
luffy - roger (but luffy would surpass roger)
blackboard - whitebeard( but blackboard would be far stronger than whitebeard)
zoro- ray (but zoro would be stronger than ray)

BB is WB of this gen. I'd say shiryuu doesn't have a parallel to the old gen which isn't bad. Not every single character is gonna relate back to the old gen. At some point the new gen would need to stand for it's self not off the old gen.
