BB DF is said to be logia, but of all logia out there his fruit acts different than the other, BB can't do what typical logia can do, like transforming their whole body into element, also his darkness fruit was the only logia that doesn't came from any element. that's why i think it was also a secret DF who's waiting to be awaken.
