I thought Shanks just has a Sword to look Cool. Why does he love his Sword like the rest of the Swordsman

Great find these characters have no other abilities or devil fruits it's clear they live by their swords no amount of agendas can change that. Hakiman pirates having really tough time these days with all the piles of evidence destroying their head canon
