Seriously though, does this mean that Berserk is being continued by Miura’s assistants, or is this the last chapter and they’re just publishing all that Miura wrote before his death?

If it's gonna be the last chapter i hope they add like 5 pages of writing about the ending since i'm sure they know it
Write the names of important character and tell what their backstory was and what will be their fate

Oh man... On one hand I really want the assistants to continue and finish the story... on the other hand I am doubtful any of them could match Miura's character writing/depth and themes.
It's the best decision. No one would be able to do justice to Miura's work. I just hope that they can publish a few lines about the ending that Miura had in mind if he let someone know or left something written in his notes.

Yeah, I agree. The death came too suddenly. If Miura had been sick, laid out a
load of notes about what was to happen in the case of his death then I’d have been fine with someone else trying to finish it- that was done for the Wheel of Time book series- but I don‘t think that preparation is there. They’d basically be trying to guess too much.
I watched the anime (the first one) 15 years ago and I thought it was absolutely brilliant
Guts griffith caska were amazing characters and the story was captivating
after the anime I started reading the manga
Everything were great
Until after the eclipse arc
Then the manga started to go downhill for me
I read probably the next 2 arcs after the eclipse and then gave up
The quality was not the same
Especially the 3 main characters
They lost all of their charm for me
and the new main cast I thought were horrible
The blond hair guy
The woman always accompany him
The fairy
Etc…
Forgot all their names because it has been so long
i want to reread the manga from the start
my question is honestly is it really that good?
Is it a must read?
Or is the eclipse arc the best berserk could offer?

I’m a little confused because there’re only two major arcs after the Golden Age, so I think you’re confusing sub-arcs for arcs.
Also you need to read the manga version of the Golden Age, because about 4-5 volumes worth of content are missing from the 1997 anime, including the entirety of volumes 9 and 10. Just start at volume 1 and go from there.
