IMPORTANT: I WILL NOT COUNT VOTES FROM THOSE WHO DO NOT VOTE FOR EACH FIGHT. ALSO IF I SEE OR NOTICE SOME SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY THAT ENTRY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

In this round in this thread we will have 6 characters, which means 3 fights.

FIRST FIGHT

ESCANOR FROM NNT
The GOAT Escanor.

I assume most people are familiar with NNT.

Escanor appears in the latter half of the manga because he is too fucking strong lmao. Escanor breaks the game, he's the embodiment of unfairness.

What happens here tho is the following. Two Commandments appear at Escanor's bar. Commandments are the highest ranking demons of the Underworld, with only 3 demons, Chandler, Cusack and the Demon King himself, being ranked above them. Their combat classes go from 28 000 to above 100 000. Before the Commandments showed up the highest combat class we saw was like 5000 iirc. Shows you how crazy hyped they are. They destroyed everything wherever they showed up. For the large part of the manga only Escanor could wipe the floor with them.

The deal with Escanor tho is that his power is during the day. As long as the Sun is up, Escanor keeps getting stronger. During the night he is in his normal human form, weak as fuck lmao, his combat class is 15 in that form lol. But as soon as the Sun goes up, you better run away. His power increases the more the sun is up. And when it hits noon, Escanor is literally the embodiment of invincible power.

The two demons visit Escanor's bar at night. Escanor hides Ban and Jericho from them, and the demons wanna drink and play games. Galland challenges Escanor to a game. They will each hit each other and the first one to die or run away loses. Escanor, in his night form, the weak one, says OK. Galland hits him once and knocks him out completely.

The demons continue to drink the night away until morning. Galland notices a huge axe, that he can barely lift. He wonders what kind of axe is it, and how it can be wielded at all. He thinks it's a two handed axe. Escanor, due to morning and the Sun, appears in his buff form now. This is the early morning, so the weakest Escanor is, bar the night of course. Escanor then tells him that he stands at the peak of all races, not lying btw, and that he is the sin of pride.

Galland starts laughing at him, Escanor joins in in the laugh and then casually, while holding back, swings his axe and cuts Galland in half. Melascula shits herself at the sight of all of this.

Galland stiches himself and being angry uses his critical over that increases him combat class from 28 000 to 40 000.

In that powered up form he swings at Escanor, hits him in the arms, the shockwaves of the hit travel far and wide and destroy mountains, but Escanor gets nothing but a little cut. And now it's Escanor's turn. As you can also see, Escanor just keeps getting stronger and stronger. He puts the fear of death into Galland so badly that Galland turns around and starts to run away from him. Doing so, Galland broke his own commandment and turned to stone.

A Commandment is a "cursed" Magical Power created by the Demon King over 3,000 years ago, and bestowed upon ten different elite warriors of the Demons. There are ten in total and each has a unique curse of absolute power bestowed upon anyone who breaks its rule, even upon the holder himself/herself.

Galland was bestowed with the Commandment of the Truth.
The Demon King bestowed Galland with the Commandment of Truth. This Commandment determines that any who tell a lie in Galland's presence will be turned to stone. Only those who are aware they are lying will be affected.

But it doesn't end there.

Melascula who attacks Escanor's soul directly, and eats it, burns up from the heat of his soul lmao. Melascula's combat class is 34 000.

She entraps Escanor in the Glooming Cacoon. Melascula envelops her opponent in darkness, trapping them within a pitch black sphere. The cocoon is extremely resistant. According to Melascula, even a member of the Ten Commandments could not break it. Although she said that the only time it was broken was when Zeldris used the Demon King's power. It requires the power of the Supreme Demon King in order to be broken and Escanor's soul does it casually lmao.

So there you have it. Two top ranking demons straight up negged by Escanor's power. In the morning nonetheless, when he is at his weakest, bar the night of course. And then this man decides to leave not to passively kill off his comrades due to his power. GOAT. Can't get better than that for an entrance.

VS
QIN SHI HUANG FROM ROR
Qin Shi Huang from ROR.
ROR is a battle seinen in which the humans battle the Gods in a tournament, 1 vs 1 rounds, in order to secure the survival of mankind. 13 humans from across history have been chosen to participate.

Qin's entrance is straight up boss. The panels speak for themselves.

First off, he's fighting Hades, a supreme God in the hierarchy. Look at how hyped Hades is. There's only one man that can beat him according to Bu chan. Goll, who has witnessed Gods like Zeus(The Godfather of the Cosmos), Thor(Nordic's strongest God and berserker), Shiva(The strongest God of destruction in Heaven and a Supreme God), Poseidon(The God of Gods), etc fight, thinks it's unfair to have Hades in the roster. But Bu chan tells her that only the King of Genesis can be victorious against Hades.

And then moving on to the entrance. Qin just shows up wreaking the buildings nonchalantly looking for his lounge. Humans and Gods have separate lounges, with Gods' obviously being much better. As he's wreaking the place he notices the VIP Gods lounge. Obviously an Emperor, vainglorious and cocky, he naturally assumes that the VIP room must definitely be his lmao.

The seat in the picture, the empty one is Hades'. Ares used to sit there before Hades showed up, but since Hades showed up Ares doesn't dare to sit there. Ares is the big muscular one. Instead, even though Hades left to battle, Ares sits on the chair that's about to break thanks to his physique. Now, my boy Qin Shi, enters the Gods' room nonchalantly, no one ever did that before, casually ignores two Gods there, Ares and Hermes, and goes straight down and sits on Hades' seat. The utter shock on Ares' face as Qin sits on Hades' seat is amazing lmao.

Ares and Hermes, confused and wondering, while Qin doesn't give a damn is glorious as well. Ares tries to get Qin to move, wants to grab him for his arm and take him away, but Qin, whilst sitting down, straight up negs Ares in one move, with the flick of his wrist. That even causes Hermes, to move away, shocked. Then my dude Qin proceeds to tell two Gods to humble themselves because they are in the presence of an Emperor. Straight up boss energy through and through.

But this man doesn't stop here. He says wanna see me flip Ares again eh.

And then his entrance to the arena. God tier.

He descends from the Gods' side. Cocky as he is. He has all the Emperors of China make practically a red carpet for him on top of their heads so he can walk over. DAMN. BOSS.

He walks the path of an Emperor. Enjoy.

SECOND FIGHT

THE JOKER FROM DARK KNIGHT
Joker (The Dark knight)

Joker, The Clown Prince of Gotham

Does this character even need an introduction? Considering he might be the most famous villain of all time, most people started watching this movie with an idea of who the Joker already is.

But you see, this version / interpretation of the character needed a strong start, because when it was announced that Heath Ledger would take on the Joker role, the majority of the DC fanbase turned on the movie, they had 0 faith in the actor's ability of capturing all of the elements that made the Joker such an iconic character.

So you need to put yourself into that mindset to understand why i believe this is one the greatest introductions / debuts of all time. Imagine the movie is about to start, you are a fan of the Batman comics / movies and you love the Joker, but you have 0 faith in Heath Ledger's ability to bring a good version of the Joker. Then the movie starts, and in just the first 5 minutes of the movie, your mind has been changed.

Link to the Scene

We start the movie following a crew wearing clown masks for a complex bank heist. While we follow the actions of the criminals taking control of the bank, we hear them talking about how they are gonna have to split the money from the heist in 6 shares, 5 for each crew member and a piece for the head of operation, some guy called Joker who uses makeup to scare people, like War Paint. One of the guys in the crew is mad they have to share part of the money with a dude who will just sit out on the actual heist.

One of the members of the crew puts grenades in the hands of every single civilian / worker and pulls the pin, telling them to hold on for their lives and not do anything to interfere with the heist.

Then, we find out that the Joker told a few of the members to kill off one another after each one has finished their part, like the guy shutting off the alarms and the guy that cracked the safe, telling them "one less share to split". One by one, the crew's numbers starting going down.

By the end, when there's only two guys left, one of them turns on the other and says that "i'm betting the Joker told you to kill me as soon as we loaded the cash", but the other guys says "No, i kill the bus driver". At this moment, a Bus comes crashing through the wall of the bank and killing the first guy, revealing another member of the crew the rest didn't even know about, the bus driver helps load the cash and as soon as that happens, the other guy kills him without even looking, being the last member of the crew alive.

While the last guy alive is finishing things up and getting ready to leave, a manager from the bank that is still alive tells the last guy that the Joker is going to kill him like the rest of the crew, but the criminal walks up torwards the manager, puts a grenade in his mouth and takes off his mask, revealing to us he was the Joker since the start.

The Manager asked the Joker what he believes in, so he answers with:

"I believe whatever doesn't kill you, simply makes you ... stranger"

The Joker then starts to leave the bank, entering the bus, all while having a wire attached to the pin of the grenade he put on the manager's mouth, and as soon as he leaves the building with the car, the wire is pulled and the pin from the grenade drops, revealing it was a fake smoke grenade from the start.

This scene is a perfect introduction of this version of the Joker, described by the director himself as a "a psychologically credible anarchist."

In 5 minutes it estabilishes everything the Joker is and for the most part of it, we don't even know the Joker is in the scene, with that only being revealed in the last few seconds.

In just these 5 minutes we learn:
  • The Joker is a mastermind / planner capable of extremely complex plans.
  • He is chaotic and doesn't care about peoples lives, making them kill each other and killing people without looking at them (something he does the entire movie).
  • There's a small hint when the hacker turns off the alarms that shows us the Joker didn't want to steal money from people just for the sake of it, because the alarm / emergency number of the bank wasn't 911 or a security company's number, but a private number, which is later revealed to be conected with the underground organized crime of the city.
  • Even if he is this more realistic / serious take on the Joker character from the comics, this version still has some of the "fun" of the original, by using fake smoke grenades on the civilians to make them scared and the way he smiles and laughs while leaving the scene.

VS

MADARA UCHIHA

Madara was built up to be a complete monster through out the story and he shows how op he really was when he came back and basically went against a whole army using only hand to hand combat. Then afterwards proceeded to drop not one but two meteors on top of them back to back.

MADARA UCHIHA TENGAI SHINSEI

Madara trolling the Kage and showcasing how out of their depths they truly are:

Some epic Madara panels:

Madara treating the Bijuu ( legendary monsters that caused so many problems across the world and are considered to be extremely strong) like mangy dogs that need to be put down :

No matter how you think about Madara as a character that was one of the coolest and most bad ass scene in the entire manga and anime.

THIRD FIGHT

MIHAWK
Every good series starts with a power floor and a power ceiling. The floor shows our heroes' underdog circumstances from which they'll rise. The ceiling shows us how high they'll go. Dracule Mihawk's introduction in the Baratie arc was our first glimpse at One Piece's power ceiling, clearly demonstrating that despite how strong Zoro was, despite how much he'd improved, he still had a long long way to go. Mihawk's introductory scene also gave us great insight into the character himself; how he views the world from atop his lonely throne.

The Baratie arc conflict kicked off with the arrival of Krieg and Gin, the so-called rulers of East Blue limping back to the blue sea in defeat. We are told that a single man destroyed a fleet of 50 ships - a feat of strength utterly unheard of in the story so far. The Krieg Pirates repay Baratie's hospitality with violence and a war breaks out between the fighting cooks and East Blue's strongest pirate fleet. But the fighting immediately grinds to a halt when Mihawk makes his entrance.

Mihawkโ€™s entrance has him seated in a mysterious, confident pose, saving the reveal of his iconic ring-patterned eyes for last. He hardly spares a glance towards the terrified Krieg pirates who attack him, nor towards Zoro who challenges him. This communicates his complete disinterest towards everything and everyone he meets, reinforcing that despite the Krieg Pirates bringing crisis to Baratie, Mihawk himself is completely above it all, viewing the cooksโ€™ plight as nothing more than a time-waster.

Mihawkโ€™s introduction is a masterclass in establishing a seriesโ€™ power ceiling. The man Zoro set out to sea to find, an individual who demonstrated his overwhelming might by decimating the strongest fleet in East Blue utterly humiliates the Straw Hatsโ€™ swordsman despite his self-imposed handicaps. The fight serves to highlight both charactersโ€™ conflicting philosophies - a young upstart driven by his childhood promise who refuses to yield, and the world-weary veteran who has achieved it all, but found only bitterness. It is the perfect introduction for an antagonist, providing strong characterisation for both Mihawk and the Straw Hat duo, and leaving a deep impression on the readers when Zoro realises his limits, promising Luffy that he will never lose again. Mihawkโ€™s entry into the story remains one of the most unforgettable moments in East Blue, and perfectly justifies the characterโ€™s popularity despite him remaining an enigma for over twenty years.

VS

YOSHIKAGE KIRA FROM JOJO
So my pick would be Yoshikage Kira from JoJo.

My synopsis on why he has one of the best character intro/debut in manga/anime history.

โ€œMy name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.โ€

Yeah just the quote alone is enough to beat any other synopsis Lmao. But seriously though, if it doesnโ€™t work then here you go.

Synopsis: I picked Kira because he is one of the greatest villain in JoJo. His first appearance shows how neutral evil he is. He just want to live a quiet life while doing evil deeds behind the scene. Then comes his speech which talked about his daily life which creates tons of memes among the JoJo fandom. He blend in with society perfectly just to enjoy his happiness of taking womenโ€™s hands to fill his heart content. That is why I think Kira has one of the best character debut in anime.

Anime scene that I choose

Yep, wouldn't be surprised if he pulls through, but in any non-OP centric forum he'd win by a landslide.

I feel Kaido is the only OP character that deserved to be in this tournament.
I somewhat agree, Mihawk's entrance was cool and all but compared to the rest of the competitors its not that epic. It is mostly regarded that way because of nostalgia and also the weight and meaning of his entrance to the forum's favorite character, Zoro.

Escanor's intro gave me goosebumps when I first saw it.

Such an epic debut.

Madara was cool.

Hmm I don't think Mihawk intro was great but I don't know the other one so Mihawk gets my vote too.
