Agreed.
I think the "robot vader" design is pretty meh.
To me it's a case of the character himself being so iconic, that it elevates its design.
But I'm not the biggest sci-fi aesthetics fan to begin with. so... :P

The Skull Knight is amazing and iconic, but my favorite Berserk design is probably Void's:

just look how Vader design was used and made the movies so much better better. Vader design was really thought.
