Best Character Development SEMIFINALS

Yeah, I went more for "best female character" rather than "waifu material" on mine, at least in the "popular sense" of what "waifus" are popular for lol. But I think my character is also the ultimate waifu as in someone I'd love to be with if she were real! The ideal kind of woman for me!
It's not Rukia either but that WAS tempting!
I was tempted to go for Yoruichi too. In fact I was toying with submitting waifus from Bleach, Fairy Tail, Naruto, Ranma, Death Parade and even One Piece ofc! Such a difficult decision! I've gone for someone really niche and unique, who I hope will do very well due to the strength of her character and my writing for her!
These contests are very fun and interesting anyway, thank you for hosting these as always @Light D Lamperouge as well as hosting one recently @solis as well as anyone else who has hosted them ofc!

I really thought after the Sabaody incident and losing Ace, that he would finally change, evolve, mature and show other Shonen MC's how it's done but I should have realised that was never going to happen in hindsight! Luffy has regressed, gotten worse post TS but all the SHs have suffered "Flanderisation" post TS imo. Or at least stagnated as characters.
But I've debated this many times with people before and I don't want to start another long running chain of arguments over this topic either. I can understand why Oda writes them this way still, why he insists on it for a bunch of reasons even but it doesn't mean I agree with it either.
I have enjoyed seeing how Sanji, Brook and Robin have changed and come out of their shells too though. Sanji destroying the Raid Suit was genuinely, unironically peak fiction/writing! Post TS does have it's positives ofc as sparse/seldom as they seem....
I really hope the SHs will visit Whitebeard's and Ace's graves in future though, maybe with Weevil and even Shanks and Sabo? And the WB pirates even, at least Marco and maybe Izo? Fuck Jozu and Vista apparently as Oda doesn't seem to care about them anymore for some reason LMAO!

I also really cannot wait for Brook to reunite with Laboon and Robin to have another heatfelt (and inevitable imo) encounter with Kuzan in future too!
Character moments and interactions like these are really make series like these special especially! Oda excels at them too!
