Maybe when we have lower/lesser/fewer whatever entries, we can run a shorter/mini/quick-fire tournament? With less rounds and thus a quicker resolution? So for those who have submitted entries, especially involving writing stuff, its less of a waste of effort I guess, instead of cancelling the tourney?

Yeah I agree. Currently there are 10 people signed up and with Adam it'd be 11. Ideally 5 more would be great, but even if no one else signs up there are enough for a few rounds. And yeah it'd be a waste of people's time if not run, it's why I suggested @Adam 🍎 earlier to run it with any number.

I'm pretty sure @Light D Lamperouge also did the same thing more than once and there were no problems

We do it for the numbers. Sometimes there's an uneven number of entries, so instead of doing 3way fights, I allow the losing entry/ies with the highest score to advance as well, to make it easier for everyone, and give another chance to those who lost narrowly but put in effort.




@Adam 🍎 btw there are 11 participants now. With you 12. I think that's fine to run. 12 in the first round, you allow 2 losing entries to advance, then 8 in 2nd, 4 in the semis and 2 in the final.

I stopped paying attention once my entry got knocked out so early and I got banned (from the site ofc, for unrelated reasons here) for 2 days too anyway.

I didnt know it was a normal thing in WG tournaments.
But, they chose losers of R1 and put them against winners of R1 (with highest votes) in the R2, in order to extend the tournament.
And somehow, the losers of R1 ended up winning and winners of R1 with highest votes ended up losing in R2 🙃
If it was about uneven entries, they could arrange a separate losers bracket and taken winner of that round to the next round.
It didnt make sense at all.

Yeah that's fair but I can definitely vouch that Light has, used this runners up system in many tournaments before, if that helps at least?

Also you RNG'ed heavily into your favour in your R1 fight, in R2 you faced tougher pick and lost

If you won you wouldnt complain at all. It happens, entries lose, god knows mine lost more than enough same as others, but no one made a fuss as big.
