Current Events Best Entrance Character in Elbalf Arc?

What's your top 10 best entrance in OP?

Hard to say. But in no particual order:

Kizaru, Kaido, BM, WB, Crocodile, BB and crew, Xebec, Loki and probably Imu.
But there are others that I have surely overlooked.

Though It's hard to say. Those are only judging the "panel" in which they were introduced or the other panels structly related to that.
For example, Aokiji had a hell of an introduction but the strong part wasn't the panel of his entrance/revelation.

WB and Shiki as henchmen.
The Admiral killing revelation.

Fair enough, good points. It can crack top 10 if generous.

Kaidou, Kizaru, Shiryu, Mihawk, Fujitora, Aokiji, Whitebeard, Aramaki, Katakuri, Rayleigh, Loki, Imu, Oden are better imo. You can make arguments for a few others too.

For example, Aokiji had a hell of an introduction but the strong part wasn't the panel of his entrance/revelation.

I count Aokiji's hie hie no mi reveal as part of his entrance. It all happened in the same time frame and everything prior was setup for that intro.

I would say the same for Akainu's entrance. His title box dropped with the other Admirals but he didn't really have an entrance until he got up off the chair and punched that massive iceberg.

Big Mom is in a weird spot because her better entrance was without her full design being revealed in Fishman Island. She had her title box so if we just include that one I would place it very high, but her design was still hidden.

I like Kuzans intro, like every admiral, they are flawed it shows they are more human

The weakest to me is sakazukis tbh him getting his full intro in marineford instead a personal one didnt do him favours imo

At the same time because of Kizaru and Aokiji's, Akainu's somehow (lowkey) had the most aura with him just sitting there between those two with his cap covering his face, fandom was dying to see him in action. Oda is a smart man he knew the other two already did the heavy lifting for Akainu, just having him being in the middle like that arms crossed was insane hype.

Thats true i remember reading weekly back than him being placed between them + the last admiral to act carried him there, given everyone (correctly) assuming he was probally the strongest/the mot lethal threat (no matter how minuscule the difference is between them)

I still didnt think it helped with his characterization in general tho, with Kuzan and Kizaru we see them how they act and their personaltiy before they are in active duty. With Sakazuki, we never see this, even in Ohara Flashback

Wonder if thats on purpose because for Fuji and Aramaki he also choose personalizied intros again

It was on purpose, because Akainu was slated to have the entire Marineford arc be his. The biggest war to date and Akainu was billed to be the terminator. The entire setup like you said was obviously making him the focus of the Admirals.

Just how Oda was placing him, saving him for last, saved him for the big war instead of a setup arc, everyone could tell something big was coming and that Akainu is a monster even among these monsters.

I meant more on the lines of what we get about his personality/backstory

So far the most we got out are Kizaru and Kuzan, however atleast with kuzan im sure we will get more

We know only tidbits about Sakazuki Fujitora and Aramaki but the latter two have shown more personality and insight on their "off duty" behaviour (we got a little bit ti Sakazuki with the Kizaru scene)

Im personally excited for Aramaki cause i like the movie he is based on, and Harada alot but i think some people are right that maybe oda saving big stuff for akainu

The partial intro in Ohara was really cool. It was the first time a bad guy showed up in a flashback to make one wonder how much worse they could be in modern day, although Drum referenced Blackbeard and Dragon before we knew anything about them

Tbf, we do get that scene of Sakazuki in Kuzans flashback before Marineford

This one *really* made people hate Sakazuki. So Oda did a good job with that

I know but that doesnt give any more info than what we get in marineford tbh, like the info that sakazuki will carry ouths order and to everything for absolute justice is also accomplished in the desserter melting scene

Obviously is a good scene but not comperable to what we see with kuzan for example how he behaves casualy or how he was trained later and so on
