FIRST FIGHT

Captain Marvel
Captain Marvel
~~~~~~~~
Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel, is a former United States Air Force pilot who obtained cosmic powers due to the destruction of the tesserect and absorbing a huge amount of energy from the explosion. She was made into a Kree-human hybrid via the blood transfusion from Yon-Rogg who pretended to teach her while only doing so to keep her under control and also prevented her from regaining her memories. During the Kree-Skrull War, Carol was captured by Skrulls which resulted her in returning to earth which eventually led to regaining her memories, with help from Nick Fury and Maria Rambeau. Carol subsequently discovered that Yon-Rogg and the Kree aliens had been controlling and lying to her for years. With this information, Danvers rejected Kree and unlocked her true powers.
After spending twenty-three years journeying through the universe, Captain Marvel learned of Thanos' "Snap" through the distress call sent out by Nick Fury and eventually ended up joining Earth's mighty heros for protecting against Thanos and reversing the effects of the first snap. She also rescued Tony Stark and Nebula from space while they were on the verge of dying The combined efforts of Captain Marvel and her allies triumphed over Thanos and his forces. Iron Man sacrificed his life, and Danvers attending his funeral before leaving Earth.
The ongoing theme running is girls have to give a lot of explanations while growing up. They grow up hearing that boys will be boys, but rarely anyone coming to their defense when they deviate from the social norms of how girls should dress, or how they should behave or how they should act. Women have to fight their way into places that men walk into effortlessly, but they still called emotional. Carol faced many challenges while pursuing her dreams. Even her own parents were opposed to her joining the Military as a Air Force Pilot.
But there are many men who will simply feel uncomfortable sharing the stage with strong women whether they realize it or not, and thatโ€™s where Yon-Rogg falls. He was able to handle the idea that his pupil was stronger than him only because she was controlled by him. However funnily enough, just a mere thirty seconds with her best friend Maria along with new information from the Skrulls fixed that situation for good.
Carol is a woman who doesn't need validation from someone. She doesnโ€™t give up - not when she was car racing, not when she was told sheโ€™d never be a fighter pilot, and not when she was told sheโ€™d never become the powerful warrior. Strong women like the ones in Captain Marvel donโ€™t give up. They just go higher, further, faster, and they look damn good while doing so. Every portrayal in Captain Marvel is a centered woman who knows her value.
Thatโ€™s why thereโ€™s so much power in the line โ€œI have nothing to prove to youโ€. Carol knows who she is and exactly what her strengths are, and she didnโ€™t need a long, drawn-out battle to prove her worth.
What makes Carol an exceptional character isnโ€™t the fact that Captain Marvel in Binary mode has no known limitations. Itโ€™s that when she is presented with limitations she doesnโ€™t give up. It doesnโ€™t matter how many times her family, her superiors, society rules or the entire damn universe tries to keep Carol on the ground, she gets back up every single time.
MY FAVE SCENES
VS
Motoko Kusanagi
Major Motoko Kusanagi is a cyborg and the squad leader of Public Security Section 9. She's equipped with human emotions, but has to make a concerted effort at repressing those feelings. Unfortunately for her, the human side of her tends to come out more often than she'd like. Her human brain gives her an advantage over purely robotic does, because she tends to think in unorthodox ways that machines can't compute. She even questions if she has a ghost or soul, hence the title Ghost in the Shell. Overall, she would prefer to become more machine than human. Comfortable with both physical and digital weaponry, Motoko is also comfortable with her female shell and the power she exerts over her cohorts. Battle hardened yet vulnerable, calculated but full of questions, and machine but overwhelming human, Motoko is an amazing character.
MY FAVE SCENES
SECOND FIGHT
CC from Code Geass
Without death, all we have are random events, accumulation, you canโ€™t call that life! If you have a reason for living, then you have to kill me.
CC is our favorite pizza loving, immortal, best girl from the famous series Code Geass. Her initial introduction to the series was when she was discovered in a capsule by Lelouch from which her first course of action was to sacrifice herself to save Lelouch and proceed to give him his geass.
She later reveals that she saved Lelouch only to have him help her achieve his goal, and doesnโ€™t care much about his crusade. Portraying an indifferent attitude to both, his life and the lives of others. However, this is soon proven false with her consistent, and many sacrifices to save Lelouch each time Lulu was in peril. When Mao wanted to kidnap and torture CC, she obliged to his request and tried to resolve the situation on her own, without involving Lelouch into her problems. She later took it upon herself to end Maoโ€™s life when he decided to inflict damage to Lulu and his family. When Lulu was cornered in Queen Corneliaโ€™s army, she dressed up as Zero to create a distraction and help Lulu escape. She was also the only person capable of understanding Luluโ€™s strife and grief, when he accidentally forced Euphy to kill the citizens, and ended up killing her to stop her madness.
When Lulu lost his memories after the black rebellion, she organized forces for a year to help him reclaim his memories and previous life. However, if you think being an emotional anchor is all she can do, then think again. Though not as good as Kallen or Suzaku, she is still well versed in piloting knightframes and has helped Lulu in his fights against Brittania numerous times. She has stood with him through thick and thin, and has even gone against the whole world for him.
Like a true female lead, she has always been there for the main male lead, and has shared her thoughts, emotions, and torment with Lulu. As the series progresses, her relationship with Lelouch soon goes beyond mere acquaintances, to caring deeply about each other, and eventually falling in love.
[Spoilers for the Lelouch of the resurrection movie]
In the movie, which is set in an alternate timeline after R2. She travels the world with a broken Lelouch hoping to heal him to his full might that he once was. Lelouch being broken, was scared, naรฏve and would often be hard to manage, however, she took care of him, cooked, carried all the baggage, and even fought with her life for him. This was after Lelouch had destroyed Cโ€™s world, so CC had limited immortality as well. Still she gave her life for him without a second thought.
Finally, as the movie ended, she wanted to creep away silently, knowing that she accomplished her goal of resurrecting Lelouch to his former glory and returning him to his family. She expected no payment in return for her hard work, and only wanted to see Lulu back again.
Her past was riddled with suffering for centuries, and her only wish was to finally die and lay to rest. However, in truth, she wanted to feel loved again, naturally, before her Geass power made everyone fall in love with her automatically. Her final wish was eventually granted by Lulu at the end of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection, when Lulu chased behind CC and proposed to her. She cried tears of joy, and accepted his proposal. She walked away, hand in hand, with the man she loved.
All Hail Lelouch, and his Queen CC!
VS
Medaka Kurokami
Medaka Kurokami (้ป’็ฅž ใ‚ใ ใ‹, Kurokami Medaka) is the female protagonist of the series Medaka Box. A freshman of Class 13, she was the 98th and later 99th Student Council president of Hakoniwa Academy. She is a childhood friend of Zenkichi Hitoyoshi, who she strong-arms into joining the Student Council at the start of the series. After becoming the head of the Kurokami Group, Medaka also becomes the chairwoman of Hakoniwa Academy. She is the child of Kajiki Kurokami and Hato Tsurubami, and the younger sister of Kujira Kurokami and Maguro Kurokami.
Medaka is an excellent academic student, placing first in the national test. In addition to her academic achievements, she has excelled in various other areas, such as calligraphy and sports, and obtained seemingly inhuman results. However, she is somewhat lacking in practical knowledge, as no one expects her to have the need to understand subjects "below her". Before Mogana Kikaijima's intervention, she did not know what the Baseball Club was for, nor had she ever been to an amusement park. Zenkichi even once describes her as being "so smart she crossed back into stupid".
Medaka is known to look down on people, but despite this, she sees the good in everyone. She believes everyone who seems to be a bad person to have "strayed from the right path", and that they used to be good people. So far, she has always been right about this assumption, even if the people themselves don't know it. Her personality is one of helping others, and she is determined to finish any task placed in the suggestion box. For every task she completes, Medaka buys a vase with flowers. She one day hopes to have completed so many suggestions that she fills the entire academy with blooming flowers.
As noted by several characters, Medaka's personality is overwhelming: her approval rating is proof of her ability to convert people to her followers. This force of personality often manifests itself in Medaka's Proof of One's Worth (็œŸ้ชจ้ ‚, Shinkocchou), also known as her trump cards. However, this overwhelming force of presence only works on humans; animals can only sense her power, and not the personality that accompanies it. Medaka loves animals, but they are utterly terrified of her, leading her into bouts of depression when an animal rejects her.
THIRD FIGHT
Nobara Kugisaki
Forewarning
: slight Jujutsu Kaisen spoilers, up until Season 1 of the anime. If you haven't seen the anime yet, do check it out lol. It's really good. Do check out the manga as well, it's really good and is one of the best series on Shonen Jump now.
Nobara Kugisaki is the main female protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen. She is a first-year student and grade 3 jujutsu sorcerer at Tokyo Jujutsu High studying under Satoru Gojo alongside Yuji and Megumi.
Talking about her personality, in my opinion, this is where Nobara shines brightest. She's very passionate and outgoing, but also being extremely blunt, honest, and realistic never really hiding her feelings from anyone, while holding a strong, confident but highly feminine air about her. This is a nice change from being the shy, unconfident, unsure, or tsundere type female lead being designated to one of the protagonistโ€™s love interests or fanservice for dudes.
Even though it isn't shown too much kindness is one of Nobara's greatest strengths such as when a little boy was held hostage she knew that the better outcome would be to not save the boy but she did anyway knowing full well it was a stupid decision. But this trait shines brightest when she is supporting her friends such as when Yuji and Nobara killed the brothers in self-defense, she noticed Yuji was in distress but while still keeping the blunt and honest nature I mentioned earlier in an attempt to not make him feel alone she called herself an accomplice with Yuji to make him feel that he's not alone in what they just committed together, which I never really see in shounen too often in a female lead acting as mental and moral support for the main character and it's very bittersweet in context.
However, nothing touches when Kugisaki is in her element, spitting at the faces that want to generalize or fit her into one category never caring what is deemed "too masculine" or "too feminine" and just doing what the fuck she wants to because it suits her individuality.
Yuuji Itadori & Nobara Kugisaki vs the brothers
VS
Kamiya Kaoru
Kaoru is the primary female protagonist of Rurouni Kenshin. She is the love interest and later wife of series protagonist Himura Kenshin.
Kaoru is introduced as the owner of the Kamiya Dojo, home of the Kamiya Kasshin Style. She inherited the dojo from her โ€œlate fatherโ€ and continues the traditions of her familyโ€™s style. This is the art of non-lethal sword play. The sword is a tool to primarily protect. She demonstrates it through the use of a Shinai โ€“ the styleโ€™s primary weapon, vetoing the use of a proper blade. This style compliments her idealistic philosophies of ridding the world katana wielding savages, who are deemed outlaws during the Meiji Restoration Period. She shows it by confronting the man known as โ€œBattousaiโ€ who has been killing innocents for a while, which leads to her first encounter with her soulmate Kenshin; her life forever changed after that.
Kaoru is a cheerful, short-tempered young woman, with a strong sense of right and wrong. As the master of the Kamiya Dojo, Kaoru isnโ€™t shy of exerting her position, forcing Kenshin and the rest of her friends to do their chores, continue their training, and managing the finances responsibly. She serves as a mentor and teacher to Myojin Yahiko, a boy with the desire to become a strong swordsman.
When things get serious, Kaoru shows a warrior side, willing to take on challenges which may seem too much for her with a composure reminiscent to Kenshinโ€™s himself. Her title of Dojo Master is also enforced, training students in arts that will prove useful to them during the story.
Her relationship with Kenshin serves as one of the emotional cores of the story. Kaoru is a light of second chance for Kenshin, whoโ€™s past as a hitokiri, โ€œmanslayer,โ€ is mired by violence and loss. Sheโ€™s a pure woman, with no blood lust or ill intentions, which brings hope back to the swordsman who drowns in despair. Kenshin changes Kaoru as well being the first companion she had since the passing of her late father. When Kenshinโ€™s past comes back to haunt him, Kaoru fears losing him to it forever, but gains the courage to help him in his time of need. Their bond is forever locked.
FOURTH FIGHT
Violet Evergarden
Violet Evergarden is the protagonist of the Violet Evergarden series.
When she was young, she was picked up by a general from the battlefield during a war. Violet had amazing fighting skills, so the general gave her to his brother to protect him on the battlefield. In the last battle, the general was seriously wounded and Violet lost two arms. The general showed some kindness to Violet and said "I love you." But Violet was influenced by military education, so she couldn't understand the meaning of those words. Since she grew up on the battlefield, she was emotionless and distant and killed her enemies without mercy.
At the end of the war, Violet was fitted with metal arms in the hospital. Later she was given a job as an Auto Memories Doll. In other words, Violet was a pretty girl hired to ink peoples' thoughts and feeling into letters. Just like a ghostwriter. She started to interact with people outside of her soldier persona, so she awakened to her humanity and all the pain that came with it. She chose to embrace the pain to connect with other humans and learn the meaning of
"I love you."
She is one of the female leads out there because you can easily connect with her. If you watched the anime, then you know that the entire thing was an emotional rollercoaster. It makes you feel a lot of emotions and you become attached to her as well. She undergoes an insane amount of character development in just 13 episodes.
vs
Ciri from Witcher
Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon
also known as Ciri
Ciri is the daughter of Pavetta and Duny, granddaughter of Queen Calatnhe, Lioness of Cintra. Geralt became Ciri's destined father by the Law of Surprise. After lifting the curse from her farther Duny asked what reward Geralt wishes. Geralt invoked Law of Surprise which grants him something that both parties are unknown of at the time of the deal. Unknown to both of them Ciri's mother was pregnant and thus Geralt's prize was Ciri.
Geralt tried to avoid this and refused such reward but fate had it otherwise. Ciri grew up on the court, her mother and father dying in a boat crash sometime after. Time passed and Cintra was faced with danger. Nilfgaard attacked Cintra and killed the entire royal court. Ciri's grandmother told her of Geralt and his connection to Ciri. Ciri escaped the castle in hopes of finding Geralt.
Witness such destruction and murder traumatized the little girl. She grew to be selfish, always looking out for herself first, her emotions were rampaging and she felt lonely. But as fate would have it she soon reunited with Geralt and the two started to develop a bond that of a father and a daughter.
Ciri started to mature around Geralt both physically and mentally. Training with other Witchers she grew as a warrior and as a person. Her hard childhood made her become someone who is resilient, headstrong and unrelenting in her actions. However during her training Witchers began feeding Ciri special herbs in order to accelerate her physical stats. This however backfired because Ciri showed negative side effects to it. As such Ciri didn't recieve anymore herbs thus making her physical attributes less of a regular witchers.
However, even when the deck was stacked against her her spirit kept on pushing, she overcame a training that only a small number of witcher candidates can overcome with only being a normal human. Likewise Ciri can't do Sigils like other Witchers can do because of a certain affliction she has.
I could write more about her but it would enter heavy spoilers plots and considering S2 is around the corner and many people are watching the show I will refrain myself from talking more.
However, those that played the game or read the books will understand why Ciri is an amazing character and one of the best female leads. Yes she is arrogant and stubborn, her hot head getting her into trouble all the time... but she is just a kid whos life was butchered in front of her over and over and yet despite all of that she prevailed.
SPOILERS AHEAD
Ciri powerwise is one of the most broken characters in the series and fiction overall.
After recieving witcher training Ciri gained skills that far surpass normal humans. Her sword skills are profficent enough to best several high ranking knights or Elves of high caliber like Caranthir.
Likewise Ciri is a profficent monster hunter. While Witchers get superhuman abilities and senses to combat monsters - and even then it is a hard battle - Ciri that has regular human abilities can match high tier monsters
What seperates Ciri as a powerhouse is her magic.
Ciri is dubbed Lady of Space and Time.
Her magic allows her to traverse time and space on a small and big scale. She can teleport to any location she chooses in a blink of an eye. She is using this ability to quickly move around the battlefield and suprise her enemies.
Likewise Ciri can travel through time and dimensions. During her exile Ciri was jumping from a world to a world one different after another.
It was stated that Ciri can destroy half of a town with ease in seconds with her powers.
Later on Ciri masters her powers and becomes a full fledged first female witcher.
