Or people have a different taste
This is a thread about "best manga" and not "my favorite manga".

I personally enjoy watching a lot of nonsense over heavy stuff like "Schindler's list", too, yet I would never claim that those things I enjoy more are "better".

Berserk dwarves OP in every single objective writing criteria you can find.

It’s always subjective in the end lol

To be fair, as someone who's read both, I do think One Piece is an amazing manga (even if it gets a bit rocky post skip, it's still pretty solid), and even though I disagree on it being better than Berserk, I can see how other people may think it's better.

If you let emotion and personal feelings out of it and solely judge using objective criteria (inner-manga logic, character development etc.) there is absolutely no way anyone ranks One Piece anywhere near Berserk.

There's no way to tell whether or not they're using personal feelings or actually going off what they see in the mangas. Some people may not have even seen both but they still vote because they have to (this is the case for me for a handful of entries on this list sadly).
Either way there's not like there's money in this so there's no reason to really care who wins.

Berserk only has the Griffin plot twist, art and character depth going for it. One Piece is better overall. I barely the names of places of the Berserker verse or even side characters.

The entire point of a story is to invoque emotions...Not sure why bro is that as an argument against the quality of manga when in fact it is something that speaks volumes about the quality of a story.

You can’t let personal feelings out of it
It’s art, there is nothing objectively better
It’s your subjective taste that makes it "objectively" better for you
This is not a mathematical equation
