It's my first time listening to it, but I also couldn't not vote for her, she's amazing!
Yeah, I'm always fascinated by languages, their structures, and how one word travels from one language to another, and how similar languages end up being very different (I believe there's a whole meme thread about Slavic languages how the same word has absolutely different meanings in seemingly similar languages, say, sklep in Polish is a "shop", and in Ukrainian it's a "tomb", pozor in Czech is "attention" and in Russian it is "shame". The list is endless. Sometimes I think that if I didn't have to earn money and could do whatever I want, I would most likely go into linguistics and learn a lot of languages. I am kinda halfway there, but I'd love to learn more.
You're more than welcome :) and you've got quite a good taste in music, too, so I appreciate you sharing it.
Death Note was one of the first anime I've ever watched. Was so devastated when L died. And OST is one of the best indeed, and what's cool is that you can listen to it without watching anything and it still gets you. Thanks for reminding me how amazing it is!
Thank you.
Yeah, Peaky Blinders overall has a good music selection.
I don't really care for Spider-man that much, but back in 2018 I saw the trailer for the first Spiderverse movie and got interested in it. Didn't expect anything, went to a movie theater anyways.... it was a blast and I loved it so much. The second one is even cooler, but there's a cliffhanger ending to set up the last part of the trilogy, so if I were you, I'd probably wait till the last one to see if it's good and then watch the whole thing. The art is amazing, it indeed feels like an animated comic, the colours, the textures, the different world's distinct art styles, I just love it so much. And it is quite influential: Puss in Boots Last Wish and Mutant Ninja Turtles got a lot of inspiration from the first Miles Morales Spidey movie for their animation style. It reminded the animators that animation doesn't have to imitate LA as much as possible, it has its own strengths which make it so distinct and some things are indeed better suited for the animation.
I don't want to spoil you anything in case you end up watching it, but if you don't care/don't plan to watch it ever, I can show you a few clips I really liked.
Another example where I wouldn't care so much for the song itself, but love it as an OST would be this song in Arcane:
Guess this is one of the reasons why OPs are so prevalent here: 1) they are usually quite catchy and 2) they have matching visuals.
