Best Post Time Skip Hype Fight 2.0

Often in Shonen after a short or long time skip the MC has to fight someone he fought before. These fights are always here to show how much the MC grew and became stronger. They are often one side stomps while the MC lost before or had to give it all.

Which one was the most hype of these fights ? Which one was the best ? The most coherent ? Do you like those type of hype fights ? What you didn't like ?

Fairy tail sucks ass hard, but Natsu flexing on bluenote is probably the best showcase of post timeskip growth, and in terms of how hype it is if I'm comparing it to Luffy.

Dropped mid hero, so I can't say much for Diku.

Natsu Vs Bluenote slaps all. Bluenote was the one who used to clash against Shanks prior Time Skip and Natus no-diffed him. This Panel was so shocking and satisfying;

Luffy Vs Pacifista was decent but nowhere near this one. Luffy and Co. could take down atleast one Pacifista prior TS but Natsu was completely hopeless against him.

I agree that Natsu destroyed Bluenote but I felt it was too much. Bluenote was someone who could more of less being solid mid diff by Gildartz and then natsu neg diff his ass without even trying.

Luffy one shotting the Pacifista was the most hype for me.

It just meant Natsu had surpassed pre TS version of Gildarts, that alone should be enough of a hype. Bluenote was portrayed as someone untouchable by the likes of Natsu pre TS.
Pacifistas were already clowned by Boa Hancock and some unnamed Pirates of New World during Marineford.

That's precisely why it's hype.

Luffy negged a pasifista after the timeskip with one blow, while it took the whole crew to take one out pre timeskip, similarly to Natsu. What makes one more unbelievable/ unrealistic than the other?


What makes Natsu's one more hype is just how effortless he makes it look - one breath, and how he's cutting off bluenote while he's talking- he's treating him like irrelevant trash.

Natsu was stomped by Bluenote before while Luffy had an hard fight against Pacifista. Pre TS Luffy alone was not helpless against a Pacifista. The distance between Natsu and Bluenote was bigger than the distance between Luffy and Pacifista.

And even outside of Power level I thought Luffy moment was really really hype. The way he dodged the laser beam, then went for the one shot
