Just submit 3 anime that others didn't submit. We'll start from there and you'll see the rest :endthis:

are double cours like Gachiakuta counting?
if yes imma submit Gachiakuta as my third one
I guess it can count. Will probably do the same as in the female character contest (as in, only if they reach the top three from the previous contest, they can't be submitted).

Although I think we'll be doing retroactively for Summer, Spring and Winter 2025 but I see no issue with submitting Gachiakuta now.

Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray part 2

MAL Score: 8.68

MAL review:
If you had told me a year ago that a show about horse girls would be the catalyst for me changing my entire life's trajectory, I would have laughed. In my review of Cour 1, I admitted I was a skeptic, but got hooked. I called it "peak." I thought I understood how high this series could go.

I was wrong. I wasn't prepared for Cour 2.

While Cour 1 was about the rise of a monster from Kasamatsu, Cour 2 is where the monster challenges the world. If the first half was a sports anime, this second half is a historical love latter disguised as entertainment.

As I mentioned in my manga review, what separates Cinderella Gray from giants like Haikyuu!! or even classics like Slam Dunk is the crushing weight of authenticity. In Cour 2, we aren't just watching writers try to invent drama to keep us entertained. We are watching history.

The races in this cour, specifically the build-up to the Japan Cup felt different. There is no plot armor here. Because these characters are based on real legends who lived, fought, and sometimes lost, the tension is suffocating. When Oguri runs, you don't just feel the hype, you feel the ghost of the real horse carrying the hopes of an entire era. The anime adaptation captured this perfectly, animating the Zone not as a superpower, but as a terrifying, beautiful reality of elite athletes pushing beyond their limits.

The most important thing I can say about this anime isn't about the animation quality (which was stellar) or the voice acting (which was gut-wrenching). It is about what it did to me. Watching Oguri Cap fight against the world didn't just entertain me, it woke something up inside me. It forced me to look at my own life and ask if I was running my own race. Because of this show and the manga that I picked up immediately after, I have found a new dream. Iโ€™m not just a fan anymore, I have decided to pursue the path of becoming a jockey.

I want to see that view from the turf. I want to understand what Oguri saw. This show gave me the courage to fix my life and chase a dream that seems impossible, much like a gray horse from the countryside challenging the elites.

The Verdict
To the Western anime community, You are sleeping on a masterpiece. This isn't just good for a sports anime, this is storytelling in its purest, most raw form.

To Cygames and the staff, You haven't just adapted a manga, you have honored a legacy. You treated these horses with the reverence of gods, and in doing so, you created something human.

Thank you, Oguri Cap, for running. And thank you, Uma Musume, for giving me a future to run toward.

Final thoughts, The Ashen Beast didn't just conquer the turf, she conquered my heart.

Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26

MAL Score: 8.13

MAL Review:
This is how you do the most you can with short form stories folks, form of art many adults don't understand perfected by someone so young. Every story serves the larger theme of love. Love is either explored in many different angles or used as a backdrop to having fun. Those eight episodes despite being incredibly creative and somewhat crazy give you a complex picture of such a pretty thing. Love here draws out amazing emotions, but even if in a tragic story it never is worth regretting.

The amount of messages told through stories about love should be evidence enough that each episode is truly great at efficient use of time. There is love for others that leads to resisting evil societal norms, motivational story about how trying is the most important part in getting what you want no matter how unlikely, the idea of music and love bridging the divide between people, love transcending the nature of your body, love as a drive for growth and art. It shows how weird/disabled people can be pushed to evil by lack of understanding, paranoia and fear of 'normal' ones and how love can help them. There are also works focused on emotions. The blind passion of love, brightening a sad boring life by love. Fujimoto has the soul of a romantic and it is great to witness. There is only one weaker story and it still explores the theme well and is cute. The rest is very good and two I would even call perfect.

Those stories are filled with fun. Characters are enjoyable and full of emotion, episodes creative and diverse. You can have the fantastical in one and the grounded in the other. It all is reinforced by great production. Shorts look great, are colourful and have great scenes. Animation is pretty, sound design good and music works wonders sometimes. Visual aspects often reinforce the story or emotions in a perfect way as do voice actors which were wonderful in their acting. The range from dramatic to fun and many other performances in between was great to hear.

Will this be a 9/10 for you? I don't know. You can get much better stories than those, but here you will witness the limit of what can be done with such a short run time. I never saw any other work get so close to short form perfection.

Spy x Family Season 3

MAL Score: 8.25

MAL Review:
At this point, Spy x Family isn't just a franchise about a spy, assassin, and family anymore. It's defined itself as the golden standard for a spy comedy shounen. With three TV seasons, movies, and games, its supremacy feels like it would remain unchallenged in similar themes. Now that we've come to known the main characters and story, how far can they push the boundaries in this season?

One of the key ingredients that made this franchise successful is that its target audience is expansive and open. Practically anyone can watch this show as it's unrelated to any other franchise. Season 3 obviously requires previous knowledge of the previous installations but you shouldn't be here anyway if you haven't seen those. Spy x Family Season 3 drops us right into where we are most comfortable with - Anya Forger and her beloved "family" in another spy comedy adventure.

But this season allowed us to see the history and character background of Loid Forger, a complex character with pacifist views. His character personality is complex because of his role in the show, where he takes on the mission to adopt Anya and marry Yor to form a fake family. Because of this role, his personality often changes depending on what he's assigned to do. Taking on the alias 'Twilight', Loid exmplifies the characteristics of a professional spy. His way of controlling his emotions while planning ahead are just a few examples. However, his past was also complicated by the war from where he grew up. We see tragically how his life changed from a happy boy to a person who sees the reality of war. His loss includes his family and friends, and motivates him to be the spy we know today. It's a background story necessary to understand by watching and believing.

One of the most entertaining story arcs also make its appearance that involves Anya, Becky, Damian, and the entire class. The 'Bus Hijacking Arc' is exactly how it sounds as their lives are put into danger when Anya's class is taken hostage. Neither Loid or Yor are there to save the day but instead, it's up to Anya and her mind reading abilities. She remains the key figure to determine what's real and fake while also helping law enforcement track down those criminals. As thrilling as it sounds, this arc also marks the lighthearted humorous moments as this show is known for. Yet, Anya continues to show her courage even when she realizes what's she's going up against. Similarly, Damian steps up to risk his life despite not having a special gift like Anya. This is a story arc that captures the emotions of kids being thrown into a hostage situations. It's an arc that brings out the best from its characters in many ways.

Spy x Family Season 3 delivers what it set out to do after that's continuing the legacy of a successful franchise. The third season has a deep dive into Loid Forger, a story arc that tests the limits of main cast, and continuing to also push the boundaries of a spy and family series.

Tojima wants to be a Kamen Rider

MAL Score: 7.65

MAL Review:
This is easily one of the most unique anime to come out this season. For anyone disappointed by the rough animation of One Punch Man Season 3, Iโ€™d say give this a try. Itโ€™s a surprisingly well-made action comedy that deserves more eyes on it.

The story follows a group of adults who still hold on to their childhood dreams of becoming Kamen Riders and fighting evil forces. Itโ€™s funny, lighthearted, and the characters are weirdly relatable. The 40-year-old main character especially feels like a fresh change from the usual teenage heroes.

The character designs are great too, especially the women. The designs are stylish, bold, and, yeah, kind of hot. The animation can be a bit inconsistent at times, but the action scenes look great overall. And the soundtrack? Easily one of the strongest parts. Each main character having their own theme track really amps up the hype during key moments.

Overall, Iโ€™d call this a hidden gem of the season. Itโ€™s funny, full of heart, and manages to balance absurdity with genuine emotion. If youโ€™re looking for something fresh and different, definitely give Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider a shot.

My Hero Academia Season 8

MAL Score: 8.78

MAL Review:
In 2015, on a random week at the end of October, the first season of My Hero Academia was green-lit. At the time, my excitement was through the roof, like a kid at the candy store. It made all in the sense in the world to capitalize on its popularity. Animating this show was also no brainer with the growing trend of superhero media in the modern era. Here we are 10 years later, the final season of My Hero Academia is upon us.

The rivalry between the heroes and villains in this franchise has been old as time. To make a strong impression, we're thrown back between the struggle on both sides: All Might and All For One. Their battle has much more impact than just than saving the world. From All Might's point of view, he's trying to save the next generation of heroes. In a plot scripted way, he's also destined to clash with the villian boss. It's a cliche of good vs evil yet My Hero Academia has embraced on its idea. Similarly, My Hero Academia does rely on some common superhero cliches in the final season. One of the recurring themes is character redemption as seen with Aoyoma and even lesser extent, the hero killer Stain. All For One's past is also revealed including his hatred for a certain character and his quest for revenge against All Might. Sound similar? I'm sure you've seen a superhero movie or two about a villain's crusade to exact revenge.

In the present, Bakugo also manages to follow his own path, not one with redemption but his own character. His fight with All For One represents selflessness and growth beyond his usual arrogance. It contrasts against All For One's one-sided blindness to achieve power and domination. Rather, Bakugo's endurance and to prove himself establishes him as a true hero this season. And finally, we cannot forget Deku's archrival in the show: Shigaraki. They're polar opposites of one another. Deku walks the path to create peace and hope, while Shigaraki seeks destruction and chaos, while trying to make things right in his vision. From his perspective, Shigaraki sees the hero system as flawed and tries to correct it in the most extreme ways possible. In one of the most profound moments in the season, we also see how Shiagraki reacts to his feelings and reponses. Even his final words show that he followed his path from the start, to destroy, than to create. However, this season finally allowed Shiagraki to find peace and end of his own suffering. For Deku, he managed to win a battle of ideals. His character is the foil compared to Shiagraki and like in any hero/villain story, one had to win and one had to lose.

My Hero Academia's path to get to the final season was never an easy one or without flaws. It suffered from some pacing issues and perhaps introduced more characters than we bargained for. Among the cast, some got lost in the fold while others were oversaturated. Deku, Bakugo, Shiagraki, and All Might are those who recognize the most throughout this franchise. And indeed, the final season put the spotlight on them to finish all their character stories. The final season also resolved the main storyline of the Final War Arc, a conflict that manifested from the first season. It took 10 years for the anime to reach such a conclusion but no doubt one worth waiting for.

My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's

MAL Score: 6.68

MAL Review:
Now that the last episode is finally out, I feel like I have to say something about this anime. So, if youโ€™re planning on watching it and arenโ€™t sure whether itโ€™s worth your time โ€” definitely WATCH it. I honestly canโ€™t believe how underrated this anime is.

Firstly, unlike other isekai anime Iโ€™ve watched over the years, Iโ€™ve never come across anything quite like this. Summoning students into another world is the closest thing to Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari, but here we actually get a bit more of the main characterโ€™s backstory (at times it even reminded me of Solo Leveling). The art is beautiful โ€” every detail of the scenery stands out โ€” the animation is very solid, and the characters are incredibly pretty, possibly some of the prettiest Iโ€™ve seen in anime (especially long-haired characters, but also Akira). Oh, Saran, my beloved...

Speaking of characters, none of the โ€œgood guysโ€ annoyed or bothered me, which is honestly rare. Each character has distinct traits, and many of them undergo meaningful character development. The relationship between the two main characters is one of the stronger aspects of the show, and Akira himself stands out from the usual protagonist archetype (written by men). To me, he feels like a character written by a woman (Iโ€™m not actually sure about the authorโ€™s gender), and I absolutely loved that.

To clarify, Akira is generally very indifferent, but at times he clearly shows how much he cares about other people, especially Amelia. He isnโ€™t perverted at all, which again reminds me a bit of Naofumi. However, unlike Naofumi, he openly shows his affection and love for the FL.

Who Made me a Princess

MAL Score: 7.95

MAL Review:
I was pretty young when I followed and read the manhwa, and even then, it was one of my favourites. Might've been the one that got me hooked on the reincarnation trope, actually, so imagine my surprise when I found out that there would be an animated adaptation.
Three episodes in, it's clear that the budget for the series is not low at all, which was kind of an expectation I had.

The intro and outro are not exactly my cup of tea, but even their animation is well done. I'm happy that the story gets its recognition and hope that it receives proper attention, so there can be hope for a second season.
The story is a bit fast-paced - I'm not a die-hard fan of the manhwa, so it doesn't bother me if there are a few differences, and I haven't read the novel, so there isn't any way for me to know how accurate the story is in the animation. As long as there aren't any major changes, I think that it'll be okay.

It's too early for a definitive rating, but if I had to put one, I'd put a solid 8. The manhwa is still above in quality for me, and I would always recommend it first.

A Wild Last Boss has Appeared

MAL Score: 7.50

MAL Review:
The best anime this season, no contest. It has rich lore, solid story, good characters and godlike action. And hopefully season 2 very soon as this ending just let you wishing for more.

Music and animation: top notch. Even if 3D cgi was used here and there it did not look like it was breaking the immersion. Overall the animation was great - especially for fights where it truly shines. The music was good with the exception of OP song which is great.

Overall: music and animation are done good, no complains in that area at all.

Characters: Lufas herself is interesting and lovable character. Unlike most MC's she is mature, levelheaded and OP as f**k. During the story we slowly learn more about her past and her motives and we learn to appreatiate her even more as a character. I will just say, it is good to have such mature and powerful lead unlike 90% of other isekai stories. Joining her is Dina who alone created the most memorable meme about this anime - Dina is sus. Despite that she is funny and very useful in the journey, you cannot help but love her and theorize about her. Next we have Aries, Libra and Aigokeros, three subordinates of Lufas and very powerful beings. Each of them is too emotional when it comes to her and in need of a guidance, which creates all kind of interesting situations throughout the show, making it that much interesting.

Story: Standard isekai story at first glance, then the more you learn about it and the overall world the more it drags you inside. Some people might find it boring giving how the fight scenes are few and far between, but to others who are more interested in lore and characters this might be highly enjoyable. In the end, the story is about this - an old unifier returning back to it's old world, seeing how much it changed and what can be done to fix it. Add to that the mystery behind daemonic race, goddess and the rest of your old comrades and you get one deep and dramatic life story in addition to action scenes. Lufas is in the center of it, and watching her change and develop over this journey was enjoyable.

Overall - the story is solid and rich with lore and action. Just the right amount of spice to keep you interested.

Overall grade - 10. And well deserved. No other show this season is near it in regards to enjoyment and quality. I will also watch season 2 when it airs as it will introduce new interesting characters and amazing new fights that will slowly shape the balance of world powers. Easy recommendation from my side, this show deserves a lot more than it received from the community so far.

Let This Grieving Soul Retire Cour 2

MAL Score: 7.57

MAL Review:
Nageki no Bourei wa Intai Shitai โ€“ Season 1 Part 2 Review
1) Story Continuation

Part 2 adapts content primarily from Light Novel Volumes 4 to 6, continuing directly from where Part 1 ended. The anime stays largely faithful to the main plot trajectory, preserving the core appeal of Kraiโ€™s absurd luck, constant misunderstandings, and the worldโ€™s persistent misinterpretation of him as an unparalleled genius and powerhouse. The narrative remains coherent, though noticeably denser and more compressed than in Part 1.

2) Adaptation Choices

Studio Zero-G maintains consistency in overall production quality and direction. However, in covering Volumes 4โ€“6, the adaptation becomes more selective, cutting a significant amount of background lore and contextual story elements tied to the main narrative. These omissions are not merely optional details; they form the foundation for later developments. If the anime continues, these gaps may become more apparent unless addressed in future seasons or supplemental content.

3) Character Design

Part 2 shows visible inconsistency in visual design, especially in the first half of the cour. Several side charactersโ€”particularly knights, monsters, and phantomsโ€”are depicted with overly colorful and gaudy designs. This stylistic choice clashes with the established tone of the world and occasionally breaks immersion, making it one of the weaker technical aspects of this part.

4) Character Relationships and Party Dynamics

A major weakness of this part is the reduced focus on party bonding and interpersonal development within Kraiโ€™s group, especially concerning the three members who rejoined during this part. These characters re-enter the story with minimal exploration of their growth, motivations, or evolving relationships with Krai and the rest of the party, making their presence feel more functional than emotional.

These relationships are essential to the emotional weight of later arcs, yet much of this development is either rushed or omitted. An OVA or a small set of additional episodes would be an effective way to restore this missing material. While it is understood that not everything from the light novel can be adapted, this content feels necessary rather than optional.

5) Voice Acting and Execution

The voice acting remains consistently strong throughout Part 2. Performances continue to enhance both comedic misunderstandings and serious moments, often compensating for pacing issues or skipped content. The cast maintains a high level of consistency and credibility.

6) Overall Impression

Part 2 works well as a continuation and successfully adapts Volumes 4โ€“6 without disrupting the storyโ€™s core appeal. However, it feels more like a transitional segment than a fully realized arc. The humor and premise remain effective, but the lack of background detail and character bonding limits its overall impact.

Rating Breakdown

Story Continuation (Vol. 4โ€“6): 8/10

Adaptation Quality: 6.5/10

Character Design: 6/10

Voice Acting: 8/10

Overall Impression: 7/10

Final Rating: 7/10

Touring After the Apocalypse

MAL Score: 6.80

MAL Review:
Im going to repeat what i said on the forum of one of the episodes: "the feeling of uneasiness i have watching this is something else, everything is so colorful, characters are cute and happy. but this is only on the surface, the environmental storytelling is fantastic, narrating a very sad and oppressing story with clues put in intelligent ways. for less attentive people this anime will look like a nice and wholesome trip, but in reality it is not." shuumatsu touring its much more, and its the job of the viewer to catch every hidden clue and paste together the answer to the big question everyone has from the first episode. the second strong point is the background art, one of the best i have ever seen, in 20 years of watching anime, very few shows were able to have such beautiful backgrounds, like yuru camp, record of lodoss war, index, railgun and yama no susume. this anime managed to solidify its position in my background hall of fame. studio nexus did a fantastic job with eminence in shadow and its backgrounds, but with this they took the experience they got with it and improved it in every sense. the ost is beautiful but i wish it was a bit more present during the episodes so far, the first ep was perfect on this regard. shuumatsu touring takes the spot for my anime of the season, but its not taking my anime of the year award, that goes to mono.

This Monster Wants to Eat Me

MAL Score: 7.42

MAL Review:
Best yuri show their season, no contest. It is also very hard hitting for anyone who suffered from depression at any point in their life. These two combined do not sound like formula for success but you will be surprised at how well it meshes up together.

Animation and music: top notch in both departments. The animation is nice and fluid, despite not being high budget like some shows it definitely had enough to bring some very memorable scenes. Especially with scenes involving rain or emotional moments. And the music... The music is amazing and it really increases the enjoyment factor a lot. This show is prime example of what music should be, playing the right song and the right moment so that the scene itself bring out the desired emotion. And in this case whoever has done the OST deserves an oscar for it.

Overall: excellent in both categories. Prime example how to make a great anime with medium sized budget.

Characters: This show has 3 of them. Hinako is MFC who is highly depressed due to being only survivor from the family of 4. Her day is filled with trying her best to function normally as a human being and being lost in depression (which is nicely presented by her being engulfed in endless ocean). Throughout the series her only intention is to die in order to end her suffering and be with her family again, and anime resolves around her finding her will to live again. Then we have Shiori who is a japanese mermaid. She is cunning, selfish and prideful. Her main interest is to be beside Hinako and do her best to nurture and protect her while teasing her as much as possible. In the end we have Miko who is to me the best girl in this show. She is energetic, silly, kindhearted and a bit of a dum-dum. But it is her cheerful and caring spirit that is caring not only her best friend Hinako but also everyone else. Truly the prime waifu material. The rest of the characters are just appearing for an episode or two and have no big impact on the story.

Overall: The main trio is excellent and their development and interactions are really enjoyable to watch.

May I ask for One Final Thing?

MAL Score: 7.45

MAL Review:
There is a certain class of videos on YouTube, taken from Reddit forums called Petty Revenge, Pro Revenge, etc. These are tales of people (Usually named Karen for some historical reason I won't go into here) that do awful things and then are smacked down, often brutally. The level of brutality depends on the subreddit.

This is basically a ProRevenge anime. Revenge porn. Nothing more than that.

And yet, I can see exactly why it's so popular - it's for exactly the same reason these subreddits (and associated videos) are popular. You just love to see a jerk get a smackdown. And this delivers. This anime is about a girl that likes to punch. And in her kingdom, there are lots of punchable characters, and they all get a punch. As I watch this, someone else is cruising for a punch, and I'm betting there will be lots of punching next episode.

Needless to say, this is a violent (if somewhat cartoonishly so) anime.

Do I enjoy it? I guess I could call it a guilty pleasure. I shouldn't enjoy it. It's not very nice. There's nothing particularly amazing about it, I'm not a huge fan of violence, and... I'm still here for it.

8 from me and recommended, but it's right on the line of "mixed feelings".

Sanda

MAL Score: 7.43

MAL Review:
This show immediately grabs you with great animation and a unique, fun visual style.

The premise and story are pretty convoluted and make little sense, but it really reminds me of early 2000s anime such as Soul Eater. It may be strange and at times elements of the premise are just ridiculous, but the show sets its own insane rules and follows them.

I like the fact that this anime goes to extremes, with a quick pace and interesting things happening each episode. It also isn't afraid to skip through steps of tropes we've seen before to reach the fresh ideas quickly. You don't end up with dead air and waiting for characters to go through the motions. There is frequent action and violence, contrasted with intense emotional moments and solid comedy, often born from the sheer insanity of the premise.

It's also not afraid to delve into deeper topics quickly and with fresh angles. There are themes of body/gender dysphoria, puberty and maturity/aging, as well as the more in-your-face idealization and fetishization of youth by society.

Where this show will turn off a lot of people is in my opinion part of what makes it so great: the bizarre, uncomfortable moments where we tackle these odd interactions between an old man and 14 year old children. I think the show actually handles this with remarkable restraint, and makes it interesting. It would be so easy to have cute girls lusting after the transformed MC, but they don't do that, and clearly are very intentional about how they handle it. Instead it's portrayed as a struggle, uncomfortable, and straight up scary for the MC. There's also almost zero fan service, which is awesome.

This is a crazy show I'd highly recommend to anyone.

Gnosia

MAL Score: 7 43

MAL Review:
A surprisingly competent adaptation of the VN gnosia. It's based on social deduction game and it pours another mystery after another as you go through the episodes.

People might consider this as just another amogus rip off, but it's more than that. The loop itself is interesting because it randomly generated a new world or in this case "timeline," where the past differs from each iteration of the loop.

As Yuri progresses through the loops, they'll meet more characters and new roles will be introduced. It's far from simple. 3 episodes in and this is what people would consider the tutorial stage in the game. Yes, it hasn't started to get crazy yet. There's tons, and I mean tons of content to be explored and added. It's anything but repetitive.

It's definitely too 'easy' to guess who the Gnosia is in these earlier episodes. But could you believe it'll get more complicated, complex, and some might say 'convoluted' in future episodes?

Would recommend for those who crave sci-fi mystery with hot momm- I mean great design!

Gachiakuta

MAL Score: 8.22

MAL Review:
Halfway through its first season, Gachiakuta has already proven itself to be one of the most exciting and refreshing new shonen anime in years. Kei Urana gives us a masterpiece that dives headfirst into a grimy, chaotic world where the line between โ€œtrashโ€ and โ€œtreasureโ€ is blurred.

Visually, this show is a knockout. The art style is gritty, bold, and unapologetically unique, a rare thing in todayโ€™s animation, where so many shows tend to blend together visually. Every frame feels alive with texture and personality, fusing graffiti-inspired aesthetics with fluid animation and kinetic fight choreography. The result is a world that feels both filthy and beautiful, perfectly matching the tone of its story. Itโ€™s Fire Force meets Deadman Wonderland with a splash of punk energy: raw, loud, and full of attitude :}

The worldbuilding is one of the shows strongest elements. The world feels lived-in, brutal, and imaginative, filled with social commentary about worth, class, and what it means to be โ€œuseful.โ€ The โ€œGround/Pitโ€ isnโ€™t just a setting; itโ€™s a metaphor for how easily people are thrown away when they no longer serve a purpose. By episode 13, the mysteries of this world are only getting deeper and we have barely even learnt that much!

Where this anime truly shines, though, is in its vast cast of unique and wacky characters. Our MC, Rudo is shown to be your typical edgy revenge-driven protagonist. Yet as you watch on you realise that Rudoโ€™s heart is big, his anger feels justified, and his determination gets you cheering for him. His bond with his โ€œfather figureโ€ Regto gives his story emotional weight, and the lessons he is learning from the Cleaners, especially Enjin, show how much room he has to grow. Heโ€™s not overpowered or perfect, heโ€™s learning to survive, to trust, and to get revenge. Itโ€™s a shonen protagonist archetype we have seen before, yet it feels refreshing to me.

The concept of Vital Instruments, weapons created from oneโ€™s emotional attachment to cherished objects adds a clever layer to both the battles and the storytelling. It ties each power directly to a characterโ€™s past and personality, making fights feel personal instead of just flashy.

Speaking of fights, Gachiakuta brings back that classic shonen hype weโ€™ve been missing. The action is fast, weighty, and beautifully choreographed, with plenty of creative visuals that make every battle feel intense. The show nails the pacing between quiet moments and explosive fights, building tension before letting loose in spectacular fashion. Itโ€™s been a long time since a new shonen has felt this energetic and unpredictable.

I say it's a must watch :}

I'm gonna rate this Anime after watching couple of Dexter episode lol
Ngl I only watch Who made me a princess eps 1-2 since i kinda read couple of Manhua/manhwa chapter
If this were the Manhwa instead of the anime I would give it 4 points instead.

It's that good.

Even in MAL the Manhwa rating is around 8.45 while other similar ones are below 7

Yeah its unfortunate the Chinese studio change the plot.
Its kinda weird that she is the one supposed to be with no magic, but able to see her future with "magic" Or whatever it is lol.
Plus the dad didn't seem as "evil" As in Manhwa if i remember

No wonder why it's my favorite anime of the season.:finally:
I don't see those points in Who Made me a Princess Warchief :endthis:

Yeah they totally changed the premise/plot. It makes much more sense how it's done in the Manhwa.

The father suffers from a lack of characterization I think. He looks much more bland in the anime, like he's just there.

So far yea, I'm on episode 2 and i didn't even see or acknowledge him as "evil" Person than in Manhwa lol
He just ur usual Bland Bad Father in medieval kingdom theme, i hope it gets better tho, but tbh i like Lilian York in Anime as well in Manhwa since she is so gentle, caring and beautiful:blush:

I legit don't know why they removed the Athy being a reincarnated person plot. Now it looks like Athy's just a really smart kid who follows the tales of her book and avoid tragic downfalls route.

Ehh, whatever, I still enjoy the anime for what it is.

I think they should have adapted the gather personality better since he's a big part of the manhwa, but itโ€™s ok I guess.
Lilian was pretty cool in the Manhwa.

Actually I don't believe that we need to keep it under spoilers or put it in vague terms because the reincarnation is in the synopsis of the Manhwa and is addressed in chap. 1

Oh okay. I don't read the webtoon so I don't know when the reincarnation part was addressed.
Basically when she's a baby instead of dreaming of the future, the reincarnated person knows what's going to happen because she read it in a book. Which makes much more sense than a newborn baby having all those thoughts and plans.

Picture Aqua deducing his father was the one who leaked to the stalker where Ai lives without being a reincarnated person. Same vibes

@Mashiro Blue are these random reviews or yours??
Random reviews from MAL users.

I did try to get reviews for the full season instead of a couple eps but also not too long because of the 34999 character limit per post.
