As title says. Since a lot of copers disregard the idea, let's see if they stay true to their belief when there are stakes at hand

If he is fighting Luffy at some point, which i believe he will, then yeah he needs Adv.CoC

Hes one of the main antagonists, gave Luffy his iconic scar in the chest and made him want to give up on his journey and realize he was too weak

So for a Luffy antagonist of such high caliber, he needs Adv.CoC to sustain his ideals and leadership as the Fleet Admiral.

Every single one of Luffy's antagonists post-timeskip got CoC, because they ended up conflicting too much with Luffy's character on more aspects than just the mere trade of blows, and there is where the CoC should fit in

This isn't something necessarily about powerscaling, its about writing imo.

The only scenario where Akainu doesn't get CoC is the one where he ends up not fighting Luffy

U dnt need ACoC to have Top class AP/Lethality. Law OpOp showed a DF enough to shit on it.

Same case with Whitebeard. If he wants to get get the maximum damage output he'd want to use his quake fruit point blank.
However it is still a useful tool in direct clashes with ACoC users.

99% probability that Akainu has this ability..I don't say 100% because there is no certainty in this world
The important thing now is Luffy's next opponent. After knowing the opponent, we can understand Oda's mentality..Does he still want to promote coc or does he care more about the fruit?
And at the end of the story, Akainu is in third place for me after Luffy and bb..Not considering the possible power of Dragon and imu
Because I was tagged, I said my opinion and I am not interested in betting in the forum..I'm not going to choose an avatar when I win, so it's better not to look for a game that doesn't benefit me:myman:

Possibly he has CoC, but only for the sake of flexing. His natural AP with magma is already too lethal, no one escapes from getting donut'ed. I don't think he necessarily need to be amplified by adCoC, but adding adCoC to his arsenal wouldn't be bad either tho.

I prefer him to not relying on CoC as it would be a great show of Devil Fruit vs Advanced Haki when Luffy fighting Sakazuki in death match, and be like Garp to be top tier without adCoC (if he really doesn't have CoC).
