You don't need to be a coward to be a Military strategist my guy look at Ri Boku. When has he devised cowardly tactics like cornering in your own men to win a battle. That is some cowardly "stragety". Dude sacrificed his own men multiple times because he himself isn't that talented. When have you seen RiBoku do that?
My friend, it's quite apparent that your knowledge about Kingdom is very limited. I'd like you to stop continuing this discussion as it isn't bringing you nowhere. Riboku with his own mouth calls and considers him a cowardly strategist that'll do anything even using underhanded method to secure victory.
He does that because that's his duty as a military general. A military leader wastes life in every battle. Every bad strategy of his will result in the waste and death of his own men, it's his duty to use those lives to secure victory so that their deaths were not in vain. That's exactly what Ousen has been doing his entire career, actually, he's one of the generals that values the lives of his subordinates the most as they're his valuable men with which he hopes to one day create his own Kingdom.
Funny that you mentioned Kanki earlier. Kanki is actually the epitome of what you called a coward. He wasted tens of thousands of his men to gamble on a
possibility of victory. That's the crucial difference between Kanki and Ousen. Kanki has absolutely no care if the main bulk of his army dies while Ousen wants to achieve the best result with the least amount of resources wasted.
And if that was Ousen he would have ran away. Ousen is the equivalent of Danzo. Dude only cares about himself and hasn't realized yet that he isn't talented. But at least Danzo at the end had a slim character moment. Ousen continues to play this character of "intelligence" when in reality he is just a coward who isn't in the same league as Riboku or Shou Hei.
The difference between Ousen and Danzo is, that Danzo died a loser whose efforts resulted in nothing. He was killed by a teenage rogue Ninja and wasn't able to become a legit Hokage for even a single day. Ousen on the other hand, without spoiling too much, went down as one of the if not the greatest general of the warring states period. He's the general that has conquered the most states for Qin and was the leading General in conquering China.
Regarding Minato the guy took a giant Kyubbi nail to the stomach. I don't understand why you are trashing him. Dude, did nothing wrong lmao.
I never trashed his efforts but his character. He's a very badly written character for me, borderline garbage and that's what i said in my opening comment. I didn't trash him but state the truth.
My guy he dove head first because he knew he had no other option. The generals even said if they waited longer they wouldn't have been able to capture the Zhou city but Ousen realized that.
You can't be for real. If he had no option he literally could've "ran away" as you say it and give the leader role to Kanki or Yotanwa or even Moubu and Tou, but he didn't, and cooked up a plan in midst of enemy territory and every single renowned general in China believed it to be a suicide mission but Ousen outsmarted them all because he's just built different.
The guy even solved the food issue and ordered the chief of military affairs to ask the state of Qi to send food to Gyou once the city is captured. From start to finish the campaign was devised and finished to perfection by none other than General Ousen, get your facts straight.
It was literally stated that the moment SHK's plan went up in smoke inside Retsubi the entire army went according to the strategy of Ousen.
No I don't wank Naruto characters. I just trash One Piece characters. There is a difference. And btw I actually like Ousen and I am trolling you right now lol.
Then we have 2 things in common, great. Naruto is much better than trash piece anyways.
