Big Mom might still be alive and in the future she will ally with Black beard. I was doing some research on the real black beard and it seems he had a ship called Queen Anne's Revenge. His last wife Mary Ormond was also 16. My guess is that Big Mom will marry off pudding to Black beard in order ally with him and get back at Luffy. Maybe this tales turn darker because the Queen Anne's Revenge was actually stolen by the real Black Beard, so maybe Black Beard of one piece simply stole one of Big Mom's flagships and forced Pudding in marriage slave trade style. There are other evidences of Big Mom being alive. An event called the Great Stock Exchange of 1814 was caused by misinformation on the end of the Napoleonic Wars.
