A spider has many useful properties, like the silk being a very strong and tough material, adhesive, can even be used for flight (see: ballooning) using electrostatics, maybe she even has poison, who knows.

Well I'm not going to dispute it. It's not what I'd like but if she had Spider Spider Df model Black Widow, the "Black" part of her name would make more sense.

Onigumo looks like a widow spider which is poisonous. There are different species of spiders to choose from with varying qualities so see no problem
