General & Others Blackbeard and Mihawk

#1

Mihawk might deadass just be possessed. Blackbeard someone who likely has (at least) 2 souls in order to eat 2 fruits has normal eyes. The other personality probably only activating when he’s asleep. Something he doesn’t do much of

When Saturn and Imu lose themselves to Imu they have the same eyes and completely lose themselves

I made a theory years ago about the ties between Blackbeard and cavendish

Even longer ago a thread on mihawk and cavendish’s eyes on how they might be possessed by their blades in some way.

What if all 3 are weirdly enough connected to each other?…
:quest:
We know that Blackbeard’s ship is called the saber of xebec obviously named after his father’s sword. So what if Blackbeard is literally possessed by his father’s blade somehow. How did it happen idk but still its between his mother, xebec himself, or his blade

We know Ace was named after Roger’s sword so Blackbeard being even more connected to his fathers could make sense imo

As for mihawk it likely has to do with his something he faced early on in his career as a pirate. What idk but he deadass might be a sword man if yoru did take over

I typed to much so ima also turn this into its own post

Though Mihawk is aware of himself when he warns that his blade knows no restraint, it doesn’t really give the impression the blade is possessing him. The eye thing could be anything at this point, maybe his lineage is lost and special as well.

From a black ship, silent, it arrives, Where no flag but gloom survives. A lone shadow on a moss-grown stone, With eyes like the fire that is long overthrown. He brings no army, whispers no name, Just the chill of a hunter, the dread of the game.
Beware the sign of the Cruciform Blade, A polished black edge that was perfectly made. It cuts through the air with a sound like a chime, And ends every legend in its prime. A swift, cold justice, from an unknown hand, The sharpest edge known throughout the whole land.
His attire is dark, a deep emerald stain, Like the blood of the hero he seeks to constrain. His hat casts a shadow, hiding the sneer, Of one who knows nothing of failure or fear. You see only the tip, the glint on the steel, A world-shattering power that is frighteningly real.
Beware the sign of the Cruciform Blade, A polished black edge that was perfectly made. It cuts through the air with a sound like a chime, And ends every legend in its prime. A swift, cold justice, from an unknown hand, The sharpest edge known throughout the whole land.
No pirate king, no admiral bold, But a lonely, terrifying tale to be told... The World's Strongest Swordsman... Dracule Mihawk!
