One thing that would be simple for Oda to do to give him some more of an arsenal is that what he absorbs, he can make his darkness become it.

So, like when Magellan hit him with the Hydra, in Round 2, his darkness is now the same poison, and Magellan's own poison immunity is now worthless as the darkness nullifies DF powers. Or like he can burn Ace with his own fire with all that was absorbed.

I blame the bounty nonsense on Oda. BB’s 1st bounty was simply too low and never made sense.
The current bounty inflation just makes things look even more ridiculous.

The 3.99 billion should have been his 1st bounty…but then the ‘bounty as hype generator’ crap falls flat for the rest of the series.
