What can Garp really do to Akainu that Akainu can't conversely do to him and much better?

Akainu has the most lethal power in One Piece. He has immense durability and AoE spam arsenal, whereas Garp lacks in that category.
He can use the Magu Magu defensively too to mitigate the damage output coming from Garp's fists and attacks in general.
